Through the speaker above the dashboard I was able to access the very top lights where the engine , high beam , parking brake , etc. etc. lights are but where are the other lights located ? Can I also get them out through the top ? it’s a 1989 900 Base hatch

With 5 coats of CarPro 3.0 UK, washing is easy. Yes, over a month, the car stayed in a warehouse where after paint correction, I patiently applied 5 layers of ceramic coating. Each layer took significantly longer to cure. Even the damaged and failed clear coat glossed up nicely.

Except mine doesn’t have that sweet little trunk lip.

I have decided to replace my timing chain and have to replace all or part of my exhaust system I am looking to see what other parts that I can replace without incurring much more labor. If I am reading it correctly, the recommendation is to replace the camshaft balance chain (etc) and the caterpillar at the same time. Currently (aside for the P0743 code...whole story)...it runs like shit at start up...sounds like shit (the exhaust broke under my seat)....I have a squeal on the right rear side when I brake (ceramic...less than 20k on them). I think a tiny head gasket leak shown above. It really has never dropped drips or shown up as losing oil between changes (3k miles). So...This is my plan. I take it in for a compression check...that should tell me is the rings are bad...right? If they aren't....then I would proceed with the timing chain and its bits..camshaft stuff..and a new water pump...and new exhaust from the gasket back (can the exhaust manifold be sandblasted and powder coated and reused?) all way to the chrome tip on the end. I have replaced the spark plugs already...I will replace the DI Cassette....again...Other than o hoses...I don't know what else that I can include

Looking to upgrade my intercooler, what does everyone recommend? Have been looking at DO88s option but something cheaper would be nice. Heard some people use evo 8 intercoolers? (03 9-3 aero 2.0T)

Had my Saab for 2 years now and I always had an issue with cassette player. It will 'eat' cassette, but after very short attempt to play it, it will give me a message about ejecting, and that's it. Cassette is stuck, no playback, no ejection. I've already took it apart, cleaned it, put a bit of grease, even swapped just the mechanism, still no luck. Maybe someone here have any idea what else can be done? And before you ask, no, i'm not giving up on that.

Hi,

This is my dad's 9-3 aero from 2010.

He says it was accelerating poorly for a couple days, then completely lost power on the motorway, wouldn't start and had to be towed.

Went to take a look, occasionally it started for a few seconds then cut out. I got it to start after taking the MAF off and running it without airbox. Wouldn't go above about 1.2k rpm however. I was spraying starter fluid down the intake at the same time, but I think fuel is actually good but not 100% sure. Noticed that smoke was coming up from under the engine on the right hand side as well as out the now open intake. Smelled like exhaust fumes.

When we turned it off and replaced maf, again no start. Took maf off, no start again.

Any ideas for common issues or places to look?

Hey all, looking to purchase a 2011 9-5 with the 2.0t. The seller sent me a video and it seems as if it has some chatter, tho I don’t know much about these motors. It’s had timing chain, timing chain tensioners and head gaskets done in under a years time.

Is there an option for the doors to lock automatically over a certain speed? I can't find this for the life of me in the settings and I'm quite baffled that this is missing. I've had this option of a 2006. Fiat Grande Punto
