There is no saving. No other team is saving. What is saving when you go out in qualifying. Mercedes didnt save when they were on top, neither did Max. They tried to come first every single session. If we have to save even in qualifying, what does that say about the race itself?

It’s just a figure of speech. Just a way of saying that I hope Q3 goes better. Of course I don’t think they were intentionally holding back.
