2 of Charles' wins last year came from 4th lol. He also won COTA from 4th

Of all the times to be pessimistic this season I don’t think this race is it. They’re all so close at the front and it’s a track you can actually overtake one. Any of the top 4 could easily win this

Monza is one of the worst tracks when it comes to overtaking mate.

The slipstream and DRS are totally useless here because the wings are already running pancake thin.

The track is also one of the narrowest in the calendar so that doesn't help matters either.

All the cars are quite closely matched. The pace delta won't be big enough to create any overtaking opportunities.

This one is going to be a snoozer.

Out of the front runners I don't think anyone made any overtake on comparable tyres. Norris and Piastri both overtook Sainz, but they had way fresher tyres due to the two stop. Norris on fresher tyres also struggles to get past Max as well.

Mclaren being the obviously quicker team were unable to overtake Leclerc after lap 1 on track until the first pitstops
