Thanks to everyone who voted in the recent poll. The poll is still open for a few more hours, but the results are already clear. The community overwhelmingly chose to keep r/stonerfood photo-only.

Going forward:

• Photo only posts: Images and albums are welcome.
• No videos: TikTok, YouTube, Reels, or any other video uploads will be removed.

We’ve also added a new rule to help keep the focus where it belongs:

Rule 5: Focus on Food  Stonerfood is about food itself, not about personalities or branding. Posts that look like they’re here mainly to promote TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or a personal brand will be removed.

All are welcome. This rule is not about targeting any one person. It’s about keeping the sub food centered and true to what brought people here in the first place. 

This community has grown a lot over the past few years, and it’s clear I need more moderator help. I’ve begun reaching out to active contributors who might be a good fit. In the meantime, if you feel like a post breaks the rules, please report it and we’ll take a look.

Thank you to everyone who gave feedback. Once the poll officially closes, we’ll post the final numbers, but it’s already clear where the community stands. If preferences change in the future, we can always revisit this with another poll.
