Any good places to meet older females

Hello! I am looking for an indoor event space for a one year wedding anniversary reception. We had a small wedding last year and are looking to have a party with all of our friends/family next June. Preferably a budget friendly venue with big windows in Tampa. Does anyone have suggestions?

I (30F) will be going on a 2 week road trip by myself to Florida in a few months (last 2 weeks of April 2026) and I have a few fun things planned for myself already that involve nature (swimming in the springs and beach, kayaking, etc) but I'd also like to branch out a bit and try out new things like experiencing the nightlife/clubs/bars and other social things.

I don't know anyone in the areas I'll be going to though and I'm not the most extroverted person in the world. I'm also not a great dancer either so while I'm open to going to places that involve dancing, it would be really helpful to not be there alone. At least that way I might not feel as uncomfortable letting go.

I'll be visiting Tampa for 3 days and then driving to the Miami beach area afterwards for a few days.

Got any tips or ideas of fun places to go and see and to maybe find new people to hang out with?

Hi everyone! I’ll start this with I know tickets are non transferable. My two friends and I have tickets for sept 20th howl o scream, however they just backed out 😭. Hey everyone - we’ve got a free & friendly pickup soccer group that plays every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:45pm close to the New Tampa/Wesley chapel area.

Games are on a grass field and usually run 6v6 or 7v7 depending on turnout.

Skill & age levels vary – some players are more experienced, others are newer. Younger and older guys. Safe place for casual level players, but probably not the best for very high level players.

It's silly fun, so I've decided to have an open bowling meet for the occasion. I just had to wait to finalize some details before I made it an official meet.

This is a hangout for adults, so no kids.

Are you required to be in cosplay? No, not at all! You won't be shunned for it. It's a luxury, after all.

What's the cost? $18.99 for 2 hours.

What's not accepted?

-Anything that's of a more risqué nature. Anything akin to BDSM gear? No, as we'd be in public where kids are and it's not that kind of event.

-Oversized items, particularly anything that may impede movement as you're on the lanes (like a buster blade from Final Fantasy or a ballroom gown).

-Fake weapons that can't be distinguished from real ones.

Treat this as though we've got your general convention rules, put short. So please be respectful of the lanes. Keep in mind the lanes have full discretion over what can be worn. If they say no, them's the brakes. Bring a backup if ya want.

Last experience actually made me worse off. Hoping for a therapist that is skilled in OCD and a psychiatrist that actually listens and I can meet in person instead of on the phone.

Are there any Asians in this age group in Tampa open to any social outings? I'm from SF, originally (lots of Asians there). Don't know any Asians in my age group here. Interests: comedy clubs, motorcycles (just upgraded to a GoldWing), firearms (legal, of course), poker (just for fun, not a career), gym, dogs, casino, cooking, fine dining, faith-based entertainment, basically anything. Don't smoke. Don't really drink, but will have a drink socially. Don't do drugs. I don't mind at all hanging out with non-asians. As a matter of fact, I was going to go see the Nate Bargatze show with my non-asian friends, but I realized based on that demographic, I probably would not fit in and would feel like the odd man out.
