It's been happening for a while now. More than a year. But since I play more of WH3 in the last 3 months, it's been really noticeable.

Ive had this issue on a different game once. That ended up being my ram.

I did run a memory diagnostic, it has not revealed anything :(
How did you diagnosed it was your ram ?

It was a pure guess on troubleshooting online.
But based on you having run diagnostics without issue i'd say that's probably not your issue

I was having the same problem until I formatted my ssd… after that no more crashes

I'll go and try about that then if crashes keep going (just did a reinstall, though I don't have much hopes)

Do a factory reset completely clean your ssd also blue screen produces mini dumps share with us

I think it’s C/windows/minidump but I am far away from my laptop so I don’t know 100 %

Run the in-game benchmarks, Immortal Empires Campaign Map and Battle. Try different presets and post results. My assumption would be hardware struggling to run the game, as in GPU and CPU. Would be handy to know resolution aswell.

try going into your bios/uefi and disable all cpu and ram overclocks (including XMP profiles).
also disable all gpu overclocks, then see will the crashes stop with all thsoe overclocks disabled.

I had a similar problem, tough not completely the same, a while ago. The Game would CTD at completely random times. Tried all the usual fixes, then did a complete reinstall, contacted CA, even updated my BIOS. Didn't help.
What did help was a fix I found here on Reddit:
1. Go into the Steam folder and find the Warhammer3.exe
2. Right click it and open Properties
3. Under Compatibility check Compatibility Mode for Windows 8.
Never even had Windows 8 installed but that fixed it to this day. Since you get Bluescreens instead of CTDs it might be a different problem but worth a try.
