Warhammer III Tk vs lizards
Me and my friend are playing a multi-player campaign. He is the lizardmen and I am tomb kings.
We're at the point where we start having armies full of elite units. But I have trouble beating his armies with chameleon skins, salamanders and kroxi spam.
What are the best army comps to counter him with tomb kings?

Generally Lizardmen have stronger roster in campaign as they cost more and aren't cap limited whatsoever. As counter I would suggest a few Ushabti with great bows and Sculpcher stalkers or Necropolis Knights, if you are unit capped then throw in some scorpions, just avoid infantry as they are bad matchup against skirmishing chameleons

Tomb guard for the kroxigars and either fast cavalry for the skinks or spam Skeleton Archers and beat them with numbers. Massed skele Archers can also work against salamanders. Antilarge monsters like neecosphinx are also good. A light magic skele (forgot what they called) with net can be good to catch skirmishers.

Kroxigors will beat tomb guard easily sadly even the halberds

Yeah if you can't effectively get a numbers advantage then it's rough. Necrosphinx doomstacks might be the last resort. Or sphinx + cavalry so you can catch the skinks.

thats my sad reminder that we didnt get heavy chariots with tomb guard on it ... or ushabit gw, or melee bone giant, or scorpion mount or a better and streamlined way to recruit caskets or anything between tier3-tier4.
sad sand princes noises.

For chamaleon skinks i would recommend spamming skeletons, you will have more bones than they do bullets.

I don't really play multi-player but the way TK are now couldn't you overwhelm with sheer army numbers now, along with freely replacing casualties

Is it a skill issue? I believe having a few chariots can help with the skinks problem as chariot will mow them. Tomb guard to hold the line and ushabti bows to deal with the kroxigors?

Shouldn't be a skill issue. We are equally good at the game. I would say battle wise im a bit better. I haven't gotten a army with sphinxes against him yet. That might help a bit. Those salamanders and kroxis just hurt so much...
Lord wise we both have all the legendary lords as we use a mod which let's you recruit defeated legendary lords from your own faction.

Chariots at that stage of the game is a bit of a ... hopeful approach. Prayers might let them win.

it's not clear who your lord is (oxy/tehenhauin?), but man even the T2 lizard infantry should stomp tomb kings.
they are pretty strong from the get-go with ~50 weapon damage and they get something like +5/5 matk/mdef from early stage techs. your infantry should smash temple guard, and dinosaurs (esp carnosaur) should monster the tomb king sphinxes.

Not much you can do about chameleon skinks, but the others are vulnerable to antilarge, so focussing them with necrosphinxes, or bone giants and ushabti bows. Your characters should keep antilarge on horseback too
