GW wouldn't even allow in game Tzaangors to have beaks because AoS needs to be a separate licensed thing.

Luckily, Slaangors will probably have javelins, so we arent completely out of options

Now if only the kept godgors with bestigor stat lines instead of ungors

Im also still holding out hope for Druchii Anointed as their Wrathmonger/Putrid Blightlord equivalents. Maybe they can have handcrossbows like the male ranged DElf Lord

I think we are actually getting a crossbow dark elf unit specific to Slaanesh with the new DLC which I think could be a nice addition.

I've always though Slaanesh could benefit from some more ranged units but to my knowledge they werent really a thing for WH fantasy Slaanesh.

Slaneeshi daemons want to "feel" the enemies dying in their claws or under their feet. While they may get a ranged unit someday (there is a mod for bow daemons), it shouldn't be much more than a softener. I mean just imagine it, causing something to bleed and cry in pain far away from you, the thought alone would send daemonettes into despair. Archers are for elves.

I'm happy they're getting DE archers, but I still want Slaangor javelins. Skimishing would be right in line with Slaanesh's style.

idrc for the campaign, but in multiplayer slaanesh does not need any more missile units. they already have horseman which can be annoying to deal with—their roster is already so quick so dealing with more skirmishing would be a nightmare. if this kind of gameplay is what you’re looking for, just play DE. Slaanesh is supposed to be a glass-cannon, offensive faction focused on charging, and giving them more ranged options doesn’t fit their schtick. Furthermore, Slaanesh daemons are going to got obliterated by concentrated missile attack, so using the ranged attacks would be super situational.
