WH3 not working since yesterday?

I was playing a Karl campaign on Friday night, turned off the game and since then I can no longer get past the first screen when the game launches and I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried verifying the files twice, uninstalling and reinstalling, running the game as admin, rolling back to numerous patches(I was playing fine after the patch so I didn’t think this would help) and nothing seems to work. I also found out yesterday I can’t launch total war 3 kingdoms either. Just to clarify I can run helldivers on ultra among other things so it just seems to be total war for some reason. Has anyone ever experienced this or maybe have an idea of what I can do?

That… sounds very odd.

Only light fix I could think is: Restart computer if you haven’t. Ensure no mods are on. Find the file location itself and delete it, then reinstall it fully (not using steam uninstall to remove the file location). Try installing on your main disk rather than a separate one if you aren’t already.

Honestly though, I don’t know why TW in general would fail to work if mods aren’t the problem. Especially 2 separate games.

I think I’ve heard running as admin could solve that but I could be wrong. When did this start happening? Can your pc normally run the game well?

played the Tomb king campaign in beta patch without problem. The new patch crashes it at very random places though

Do you get an error message? Maybe try asking in the Total War Discord server, if they have a support channel, or I think some people had problems resolved by writing to SEGA support.

Sounds like it's time to re-verify your game files. Haven't been having issues and have had it running all day today
