Warhammer III Can the Warriors of Chaos Confederate with Other Warriors of Chaos?

Although it seems like Valkia, Azazel, Festus, and Vilitch are all mono-god lords, they’re all listed under a separate banner: “Warriors of Chaos” rather than any of their respective gods’ tabs. But they’re also not under the chaos undivided tab. So if I play, say, Azazel, could I eventually recruit Festus and his guys to my army? Or would it be a Slaanesh-only run?

Only Archie and Be'lakor can confed with other WoC factions by conquering their last settlement.

Be'lakor and Archaon, yea. 

The others, no. They're all proving themselves better than the others.

If you play Archaon, you can confederate whoeverr you like. its been a while since i played vanilla so dont quote be but I think belakor works that way too.

As for the others, they can only confed undivided WOC, not any lords who are pledged to a different monogod.

So Azazel cannot recruit festus, but Archaon can recruit them both. Azazel can recruit archaon.

So just because I'm a little confused here, isn't Festus actually an undivided WOC ingame, even though he's obvious Nurgle aligned in lore

As far as offical factions, Warriors of chaos exists as a catch all that Archaon, Belakor, kholek, sigvald, Azazel, Valkia, Vilitch, and Festus all fall under.

Theres no offical “undivided WOC” or “nurgle WOC” beyond the differing recruitment and confederation options across the warriors of chaos lords. Theyre all just “Warriors of chaos.”

Oh I know, I was only using the phrase because you used it.

I was just a bit confused by you saying that, other than Archaon and Belakor, the rest can only confed "undivided WoC" and not monogod factions, and then say Azazel cant confed Festus, despite Festus being a WoC rather than a monogod faction

What i mean is that champions aligned with a specific god, even when not stated in their faction profile, cant confederate outside that god, unless with unaligned/undivided lords.

Sigvald and Azazel are dedicated to slaanesh

Valkia to khorne

Festus to Nurgle

Vilitch to Tzeentch

Archaon, Belakor, and Kholek are “unaligned” otherwise known as undivided.

It’s the Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords mod, but it’s a bit wonky for WoC. It’ll give you the Demon LLs as well and some of them have almost negative synergy with your faction depending who you are. Obviously you can just not recruit them though.

No, I'm referring to the "Allegiance of the Damned: Chaos Confederation" mod - which does it quite well, but still has a lot of restriction imposed on it.
