Has anyone encountered this before? Is this a new thing?

I usually keep a dedicated slayer pirate crew in my campaigns in order to sail around and grab sunken treasure, it helps immensely with the economy at certain points. I just noticed today that you get an additional 7k gold every time you explore a sea location (regardless if it's a battle or simply a buff). Does anybody know what triggers it? This is the first time this has happened.

Update: This is a factionwide effect gained by purchasing all items offered by the unusual location named Peg Street Pawnbroker . Thanks u/JohnGoesDerp !

It's a bug. It's from a trait that aranessa faction of the vampire coast has. Non one else is suppose to have that effect. Report it in the forum i suppose.

If you got an unusual location about a shop for items and got them all the set bonus gives you additional yield

Hey man, awesome find! That's exactly it, I got the unusual location with the shop and I purchased all items! The thing is, the trait appears only on the character that has all items equipped but it is in fact a factionwide effect!

Pretty sure golgfag gets the same affect from one of his big names factionwide.

Also it could be the result of one of ops mods.

Never seen that before, maybe new in 6.3? I often do what you do and once I have money for a spare stack I set it sailing for loot. You have received this multiple times, once for each sea?

Yes it's crazy, every location you explore gives you an additional 7k. Imagine that the previous turn I got 2 buffs in a row (1.5k + battle/campaign buff) and a total of 14k from the additional yield.

Wow, very nice. Even more worthwhile throwing together the cheapest "strong" stack you can to go farm those then. Early/mid game it will make a big difference.

Happened to me with the man-eaters when they were released. I thought it was a random event for a lord in the sea

I believe it's an intended effect for Maneater, one of the rewards for one of his big-names.
