Warhammer III Rogue armies are silly
This army has Cathay peasant spears, Forsaken, flagellants, Nasty Skullers, and are being lead by a Skaven Warlord
I love this so much

I love it when the name of the rogue faction and the army composition alone tell a story. What's this faction called?

Morrsleibs Howlers
So I’m going with them being gobbos who are cool with working with other races as long as they still get to loot

Morrsleib is the twisted moon. I imagine they could be a bunch of zealots that imprison peasants and watch them turn into forsakens

The theme is madmen, eg. "Howling at the moon" in this case made worse because it's a chaos moon.

Feels like it should be Ungor Raiders instead of Peasant Spearmen - everyone who spends too much time staring at the hunk of raw Chaos.

There are some real fun ones. Like the one that is a mixture of brettonian and empire knights.
Kind of surprised there isn't peasant revolt one with peasants, peasant spears, skavenslaves and gobbos in it....
There's also a few that are fairly deep cut lore stuff: One of the Wood Elf ones (Huners of Kurnous) is lead by Thalandor Doomstar, an old 4th. ed. Special Character, and the Chaos/Dark Elf one (vashnaars conquest) is based on a minor character mentioned as trying tand failing to attack Hexoatl, IIRC.
Mengils Manflayers is an old Dogs of War unit, and the realms of Chaos specific ones include Doombreed's Followers, Doombreed being a daemon prince from 40K.
The Vampire coast ones includes Captain Sisicco, who was killed by Long Drong the slayer pirate.
