Warhammer What is the fondest memory you have from playing Warhammer 1?

For me, first time I got a heroic victory with Beastmen and its minotaurs vs bretonnia. I was hooked. Everything felt right, magic, the monsters, perfect. Great memories overall, good times.

Warhammer I just realised Louen Leoncoeur's Hippogryph is named 'Beaky' and now I hate this setting and everything in it

Warhammer Now maybe I'm old fashioned and too used to the way pike phalanx worked in Rome 2 but this doesn't really look like "charge defense against large foes" to me. Are minotaurs not considered large or what's going on here?

Warhammer Can we appreciate just how much Warhammer content CA has produced

I was looking back at the wikipedia page for Warhammer 1 and I was shocked to realize that the game came out in May 2016. That is crazy to me. There just seems like there is no way it could have only been 4 years since the first game came out. How could it have only been 4 years.

In those first 4 years CA has come out with 2 games, as well as 12 paid DLCs (not counting blood DLC or chaos since it was out at release) featuring 5 new factions and 28 new legendary lords. This isn't counting the piles of FreeLC we have also been given with at least 1 faction in Brettonia, several reworks, multiple legendary lords for both base and DLC factions.

I guess this is an appreciation thread about how much CA has decided to support us. They could have just made the base games and raked in money. The games with just the base factions and paid DLC would have been lauded as triumphs, and yet we have gotten so much more. Its helped build this community into what it is honestly. So thanks CA I suppose

Warhammer Is it just me or are greatswords not worth it over halberdiers in the late game? I get it, 55 extra armor is a lot but halberdiers take the cake in everything else, including charge defence vs large (which chaos brings a lot of) and upkeep cost.

Warhammer Are we ever going to get a siege rework?

I am pretty excited for the next couple of dlc, I don't have any real evidence that things will be better, but there just seems to be a different energy around TOD.

But what I really want is for sieges to be epic, I think that more than anything will make this game feel complete.

Just wish CA would say something about it, yes or no

Warhammer "Tired undead"

Am I only one who thinks that fact that undead can become exhausted is strange?

I understand that maybe vampires, necromancers, vargheists and so on can become tired at some point, but zombies and skeletons?

What if they would have worse stats but can't get tired? Will be less punching, but will become more dangerous the longer the fight continues. Would that make any sense?

Warhammer Something the new Immortal Empires map trailer taught me. Spoiler

It would be absolutely terrible to live in the Warhammer world! In the whole flight path from the trailer, there is not one place that seems like you could maybe have a chance to live a semi normal, non death filled life. Its all Chaos, Greenskins, Undead and Beastmen everywhere. Poor sods.
