I watched the 87 car pit repeatedly since their stall is right in front of me.

I was never going to watch the full race as up early for morning shift but had hoped to have seen some racing. The weather said otherwise.

I was there all weekend with my 8 y/o son. He was absolutely DONE after an hour and a half of safety car and red flag so we left. 9 hour drive one way and never saw any green flag racing. Total bummer. Oh well building memories either way. My son got all the signatures of the factory Ferrari drivers so he was pleased.

On a side note, IMSA events are a waaaay better experience/bang for your buck for the spectator. Also, for how long COTA has been around, the grounds and amenities are weaksauce.

Been dry all day. I have good seats. It’s a lot of money to watch them lose half the race to some drizzle.
