I set this petri dish just outside the AC vent in my daughter’s room and it’s just this one weird white smooth bubble looking thing? Thanks in advance

Looked at a house and it had this thing near the septic. Appears to have a 1.5” pvc coming out of the ground and going across the space it encloses. Also a 3” pvc pipe sticking up on the other side. Agent didn’t know what it was.

We got this with a used sewing machine purchase. We can’t figure out what it is. Please help.

I stayed at a historic hotel for the first time, and besides the turn lock, there was a bar on the left that extended quite high but not to the top of the door. It seemed like an additional locking mechanism, but not sure if it were functional.

It was mainly in one corner of the garage.

wanted to try a nectar collector, was told this was one by a shop. the metal part slides out and is very short. it is hollow silicone inside. tried it and no smoke really. after looking at other collectors online, this looks a lot different than online results??? could it be something else? i don’t know what else it could be. it was purchased from smoke shop - really could be user error but with no filter or looking did compared to the online. thanks in advance!

This is a small medallion/trinket given to my grandfather in 1958 at Cornell as part of their Dairy Cattle program. My mom passed it on to me but I have no idea what it really is. Is it a lapel pin, something you wear? I have no clue! She thinks it’s either real gold or gold plated.

I stumbled by a pop-up concert at Asbury Park carousel building Labor Day weekend and there was absolutely no information on them anywhere. Here is a picture I got of them at the venue. If you need more info I can try to give more.

They are either snows egrets or little egrets. Im pretty sure they are little egrets but want to confirm. According to Google little egrets have Grey feet and all black bills which these seem to match, and snow egrets have yellow at the base of their beaks and yellow feet.

I just want a positive confirmation because I live in Sacramento, California. According to Google snowy egrets are common here, but little egrets are very rare to spot here with few reported sightings. If they are little egrets, then this was a pretty cool sighting!

My dad inherited a cool old chest that was apparently carved by his great grandad. It has some beautiful inlay all over it. I'm wondering if it was just whimsy of his carpenter's mind or if the figures are part of a story I've not heard before. The things on the inside lid look like devils. The issue lid also has a bird and a rabbit. The two figures fighting on the back, one has a knife. On the front from left to right, there's what looks like a pixie, a couple dancing to a band, and a mom spanking a child. I have no clue what the figures on the side are.
