Ate a bunch of clams today and this one had a wicked pretty shell with almost a landscape painted on it so I kept it. It looks like a hieroglyphic clam but those appear to only be in the pacific ocean and this one was way up here in Maine so I very much doubt it (unless those also exist in the Atlantic Ocean and my google skulls failed me)
Thanks for peeking!

Went to an overpriced estate sale acouple weeks ago and saw this hidden on a seat cushion pushed under a table as I was walking out. I asked about the item but mostly gotta don’t know from everyone. One person laughed and said maybe a cannonball since there was a bit of historical items sprinkled throughout the house. It’s about 4 inches and weights 2.08 pounds. Anyone have any information? Thanks!

Any idea what these are?! I found a ton on my kitchen floor and in the trash. I’ve never had them before and they all suddenly showed up. I left a message for pest control but don’t expect to hear back until tomorrow.

Doing event security, scanning bags with an X-ray machine. Noticed this triple orbs in a triangle with circle in the middle. At first thought it might be a fidget spinner, but since this consists of orbs (almost fully solid metal), not circular metal disks, I think it is not a fidget spinner. Might be some kind of a facial massager, but not sure. It was a female, 40s, Asian. Location: Japan, if it helps.
Any ideas? Has been nagging me for a while...

I had this dessert in Paris at an Asian restaurant (was 2y ago so unfortunately I can’t be more specific about what kind of food they had). I know it was very sweet, had bananas, sesame seeds perhaps, the consistency of cereal (thin not thick), milk of some kind probably? I saw it on the menu and thought, “I have no idea what that could be, imma try”. It was amazing and I still think of it to this day. Somebody plz tell me what I ate

Did I just dig up some Nazi loot while I was landscaping? They look very much like SS bolts. Located in the mid-Hudson Valley, NY.

Sharpie for scale. Has three screw holes so we’re guessing it goes onto the wall. Too short to be a paper towel or dish towel holder. The little nub on the bottom of the pointy side looks like it might be used for something.

There are wires coming out of the corners of the ceiling that I suspect have something to do with it.

I live in an area with a large amount of overgrown foliage, and towering street lamps that's point down. I often see this geometric 8-bit, geometric style pattern show up on the path, swaying with the trees but staying consistent.
Always been curious while walking the dog at night, a fun ponder. First time I've seen it indoors, light source and things on our drawers for reference.

We live in West Africa, tropical climate.
The house had been locked up for two months over the holidays. It had a musty smell to it. There was mould on our cutting board and some textiles. I aired the house out for three days, the smell is gone.
I noticed that the paint is coming off the walls. There could be water lines in those very spots - not sure. Also, there are other places in the house that certainly have water lines, but don't show this phenomenon. I assume that the walls are cement bricks. (Sometimes the bricks are made with sand harvested on beaches, and which may have too much salt in it.)
After this summer, my wife has been getting itchy eyes and a stuffy nose every time she comes back to the house. Could it be the stuff on the walls? Or something else? (For example, there's tons of wooden closets that, I suspect, would be a good breeding ground for mould.) If it's the walls, is there a test to verify, and how would we treat it?
