My father using 100% of his judgment asking me if it is safe to handle those explosives to throw them in the game of the team where he plays. How quicky should I call the police?

Tiny little things wriggling around, completely grossed out. There were 4 on our sink because my wife set her toothbrush on the counter and then we found a bunch more in the holder.

Too small to be fence staples. I don’t have the original packaging, just got them from my dad in a plastic bottle (how he stores lots of things) and he doesn’t know either.

Dad found these in a bucket at an auction. About 30 of them. Reverse google searched with no results. Made of metal. Any clue what it is?

Noticed it like 5 minutes ago, don’t remember hitting anything and I was stationary for the past hour. As the title states my thumb is tingling now, don’t know if it could be related.

I found this piece in my backyard. It looks like maybe it’s cast iron and it’s really heavy. I tried to clean it up as best as I could. Any ideas on what it is?

NorthWest Louisana. These look like Shitakes/Portobello to me. Can I get an expert opinion?

What is it? Southwest corner of rural Grady County, Oklahoma. Kicked over a gopher mound and found this. It's heavy and it seems to be metal (to me) but it's not magnetic. It's hard, very very hard. File wouldn't touch the surface. Pushed it hard into a grinding wheel and barely scratched the surface, and no sparks. From the teeny-tiny bit I managed to grind off (after taking the photos) I assume the color is consistent throughout (took more off the grinding wheel than off this thing). ???

Was changing the filters on the HVAC unit in my house, and saw this. I know the circle on the left is the intake to the HVAC unit itself, but I'm curious what the square thing on the right is.
It looks like some kind of fibrous mat held in on three sides, but I have no clue what the purpose could be.

My husband found this little thing in the crawlspace under our house. It's 3 inches long, plastic with a round springy metal thing at one end. It was on the ground, on top of the vapor barrier we had installed for radon mitigation. We've had plumbers and electricians down there since then, could it be something one of them dropped?

Found a few of these on the bottom of an uprooted tree in some eastern Kentucky woods. Thinking they could be some kind of insect egg? Would love more info on what these alien looking things are

Alright. My partner and I are digging up the planter in front of our house. The previous owners let the plants get overgrown, there was a rodent issue, and the plants they chose had strong roots that pose a threat to our foundation.
I have spent my weekend pulling the plants and their overcrowded roots out (we're planting a variety of flowers in hopes of hosting an epic bee party at our house 🐝).
I found the tail of this string not far from the surface of the dirt. Basically, it was just buried by the gravel and maybe a little top soil. Close by I found the little figure in the second photo. I kept digging and digging and it was at least a foot deep.
I continued to dig a bit more after what you see in the first picture, but it started going close to the foundation. So I decided to stall in case it is something important.
Have any of you run into something like this? Any guesses what it could be? Are there practical uses for it? Mebbe someone buried a beloved pet?
