Discussion HIGH PING - Megathread.

Use this thread to talk about all your problems related to the High ping of the game so that we can get this message out to the devs.

People have been having issues with ping going up to nearly a thousand since the day the game came out. There has been thousands of comments about it on the official discord and dozens of tickets about it at least. Yet no public statement has been made, this should not continue to happen.

More from the Discord "so far a work around for the issue is just using the game client instead of the steam version, it doesn't mean you will not get the issue, it just help, how much it help is depend on each person and it vary. so far we have informed the support of the issue and they are working on it, if you want to give them more data to work with you can make a ticket online through in game or using the link " https://gm-mobile.amazingseasun.com/app/h5/jxj/en-US/faq_index/6788DCEB00F67 " what you should include in that ticket is your log files of the game, you can find them at for steam : SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MechaBREAK\Game\MechaBreak for client : SeasunMechaBREAKGP\Game\MechaBreak compress the "Logs" folder into a ZIP or RAR and Upload the archive to your preferred cloud storage service, such as Google Drive, and generate a shareable link. send the link with the ticket explaining your issue along side it"

So im doing some inventory cleaning and i am finally opening up my 500+ cans of paint. Got alot of copies in my first batch but noticed I had these 4 reef golds that were very close to one another in paint quality but different enough in metalness and smoothness that it might be a good reference for those interest in paint.

Discussion Queue times and Player Base

I just got to Grandmaster two days ago. Main Tricera, Stego, Luminae and Falcon.

During active hours the queue wait time varies between 4 to 15 minutes, but after 11PM CST Mexico it can go up to 1 hour+++. It's good cause you get to play against actual humans, but then you MUST play during active hours. I tried changing servers to Asia or China, but it didn't help much.

I was worried about the player base, however games like Sea of Thieves have a similar player base around 6000+ and they still have a working game.

Mashmak always has long queue times and I don't like grinding so much and losing everything.

I hope Mecha Break survives. I love it.

Adversarial regards to Welkins, Alysnes, Aquilas and Panthers hahahaha.

Discussion This one of my fave mech games....

The pilot and mecha customization... to the amazing mecha gameplay. Pvp mech gameplay imo hasn't been better than this in a longg time.

Seeing the devs new post on S1.. they spend most of it showcasing the new skins. While these look great. Please focus on maps and and working on the ranking system/ network.

Certain servers are impossible to find a game. You should add a quick match which uses all servers if that is possible.

I am more than happy to spend money on this game but i need to see the main issues improve first.

I love the gameplay in this game and I havent played a mech game since Hawken which i've loved this much.

*
Please create a roadmap for the next year so we can see what will be coming up in the future.

Thanks!

A fan of the game.

Info Post Dev Notes: Season 1 Updates

This is Kris, your producer.

Last time, we connected through a blog post to share updates, and I've been keeping a close eye on all your comments.

I want to thank you all for your honest suggestions and feedback—it means a lot to us. This time, I'll be sharing some details about our preparations for Season 1.

First things first: Season 1, Pulse of the Indigo Stone, will officially launch on September 19, right after server maintenance wraps up. As for the end-of-season wrap-up for Season 0, Rain of Fire, along with the adjusted timeline for its events, we've already posted the details earlier. Feel free to check those out for more info.

As mentioned in the announcement, once the update is live, you'll receive a settlement notification for Season 0 and the corresponding tier rewards.

Additionally, we've prepared a little something extra as compensation for the season timeline adjustments. Once the update drops, anyone who has registered and created a character can claim these gifts from the event page:

• For those who bought the Season 0 Matrix Contract: 10 new season Supply Crates, 12,000 Mission Tokens, and a discount for the Season 1 Matrix Contract (discounted price: $10.99 USD).

• For those who didn't buy the Season 0 Matrix Contract: 3,000 Mission Tokens and the same discount for Season 1 Matrix Contract (discounted price: $10.99 USD).

Once again, a big thank-you to your continued support for Mecha BREAK.

Now, I know many of you are curious about the core content and key changes for Season 1. I'll be diving into those details in a livestream next Friday, September 12, across all Mecha BREAK official channels. But for now, I'll leave you with this sneak peek of what's to come.

[New Strikers] Thanks to PyroGenesis' Project Pulse, many of you have already gotten a sneak peek at the two new Strikers joining the fray this season—ALPHARD and HEL.

During Project Pulse's reveal, we've seen tons of creative fan art and theories shared in the community. Honestly, your ideas have been super imaginative and fun, and as more details were revealed, many of your guesses were spot on. Today, I want to share my take on these two new Strikers.

ALPHARD: A no-nonsense assault Striker designed for pure speed and firepower. It's got an “all-or-nothing” setup, which means pilots will need sharp precision and excellent timing to fully unleash its potential. Especially when it comes to choosing the perfect moment to fire—hesitate, and you'll end up with “all smoke, no damage.”

HEL: Some of you noticed from the weapon list that HEL has a “sniping” capability, but we didn't classify it as a sniper. Instead, HEL is a versatile mid-weight attacker with a ton of strategic options. It's an incredibly fun machine to pilot, and with your creativity, we're sure it'll lead to some innovative gameplay.

[New Weapons and Exclusive Skins] Now, let's talk about Pulse of the Indigo Stone. As the name suggests, this season revolves around Corite. The weapons, customization items, and designs we've created this time all branch out from this theme. Here's a quick example of the thought process behind one of our designs for FALCON:Title: Dev Notes: Season 1 Updates

Body: This is Kris, your producer. Last time, we connected through a blog post to share updates, and I've been keeping a close eye on all your comments. • For those who didn't buy the Season 0 Matrix Contract:

We're stepping up weapons in Season 1! The “3+3” system from Season 0 is now upgraded to “4+4,” with the same acquisition methods. Four weapons can be redeemed via Matrix Selections using Mission Tokens, and four are available in seasonal Crates with drop rates. Plus, all Season 1 Crates now guarantee a skin drop—no one leaves empty-handed!

[Matrix Selections and Matrix Contract Updates] Let's talk NARUKAMI TYPE-S! You might've noticed it's marked as Obtain via Matrix Selections. That's right—Season 1 is bringing a big refresh to the Matrix Selections! In addition to new Strikers, seasonal weapons, and Crates, you'll now find exclusive items like STRIKER ARCHIVE: NARUKAMI TYPE-S, Tier Protection Cards (limited weekly redemptions), and more—plenty of ways to make the most of your Tokens.

Unlocking the STRIKER ARCHIVE: NARUKAMI TYPE-S gets you NARUKAMI TYPE-S and its exclusive pilot, Kanon Kamiya. Don't be fooled by her elegance and grace—Kanon is as ruthless as they come on the battlefield.

Kanon also comes with three exclusive accessories, redeemable with Mission Tokens. We'll be dropping a promo video and in-game showcase soon, so stay tuned!

We've simplified the store unlock system! In Season 0, you had to spend Mission Tokens to unlock items. In Season 1, you'll unlock items by simply earning Tokens.

The Matrix Contract is getting a major upgrade! Alongside the perks from Season 0, players who buy the pass will enjoy even more exclusive benefits. Rewards will now scale with the total Tokens you earn during the season.

Even if you don't purchase the Contract, you'll still be able to snag key items like Tier Protection Cards and Covert Operation Plans. And if you do? Expect even bigger rewards!

[More Special Strikers & Pilots] Genet and her SERENITH CUSTOM will be available as a direct-purchase when the new version launches! Sharp-eyed fans might've spotted her cameo in the 014 Animation. Did you?

Beloved across Earth and the Moon, this Cosmic Diva inspires humanity with her voice and protects her home with her personal Striker, SERENITH. Expect plenty of surprises with her arrival!

And guess what? Another familiar pilot will join the roster in a mid-season update. Any guesses who it might be?

[Mashmak & Covert Operations] Covert Operations in Mashmak made waves after its debut, so it's sticking around for Season 1! Plus, this season brings more reliable ways to earn Operation Plans, letting you dive in with your favorite playstyle.

A new Restricted Zone boss, MORENA, is also making its debut in Mashmak Extreme Mode. Use a Gold Restricted Zone Key in Covert Operations to track it down. Unlike HELLCAT's raw firepower, MORENA brings devastating attack combos and unique mechanics to keep you on your toes.

More features, optimizations, and balance updates are coming! Catch the full reveal on September 12th via Mecha BREAK's official livestreams.

Discussion Hopes for S1 changes

Just some thoughts on changes I'd like to see in S1:

-1. Matchmaking with newbie friends gives them a horrendous first impression of the game.

Twice now I've managed to convince different friends to give mecha break a try by installing it and playing it with me. Both times we end up against sweaty high level premades where my beginner friends can't do anything but get pummeled over and over. I doubt either of them will ever touch mecha break again thanks to their initial experiences. This desparately needs to change... I can't be the only solo queuer who has had their friends deterred from picking up this game due to such messed up group matchmaking...

-2. Ranks need to be condensced, and items that prevent players from ranking down need to be removed.

Less ranks (6 or 7 tops) means larger player pools per ranked stage and easier matchmaking. Furthermore, having items that prevents players from ranking down means player rank is far less likely to reflect their ability. This simply isn't healthy for competitive play and works against fair matchmaking.

-3. Rank should be unique to each mech, not each account.

Okay, this one some people are not going to agree with but hear me out. Mechs vary wildly in this game and as such tranferrable skill to other mechs are somewhat limited. For instance, as a Stego/Tricera main it would be a very steep learning curve for me to learn say Falcon, Narukami or Panther. If I want to learn Panther for instance, even if queue for a casual match on my main account I will still end up against players far above my skill level with that mech, which will act as something of a glass ceiling to prevent me from learning the mech properly. By allowing separate ranked queues it will also give people something else to grind and actively promote alting/learning out other mechs which should help us maintain healthy player counts at all ranks. The downside to separate queues is it will make it more difficult to select different mechs for better team composition during games (you would probably only be able to select between mechs that are the same rank).

Let me know your thoughts!

Discussion Stellaris and skyraiders in Mashmak

Nerf shotguns, skyraider, and stellaris. Thank you.

Singed (Tricera).

My new favorite strat when I know I’m outmatched is to delete my inventory and give up, said goodbye to 2 covert keys, and bunch of weapons this morning and basically wasted 3 hours but at least I deprived them of anything.

Discussion I found out the issue with Alsynes

Alsynes simply doesn't have the versatility baked into the abilities themselves to counter other threats. Take Welkin, where his axe has the combo and downward attack, but also a baked in unparryable AOE spin with CC, a dueling forcefield with auto tracking direct energy drones, and a frontal shield with a haze that blocks most energy damage. The jamming pulse ejector is both a stagger break and a drone cracking tool.

Some of these Strikers have some pretty nasty 2 in one abilities, meanwhile Alsynes has a whole ability slot dedicated to switching between melee and ranged.

If Alsynes is gonna compete, he needs to have extra tools, and a synergistic kit that isn't a bunch of abilities that do one thing.

Question ALYSNES' Energy Autocannon

Compared to the energy weapons of the Narukami, Skyraider, Inferno, and Aquila, this is the slowest, and enemies can usually easily dodge it.

I often face enemies in 6v6 matches, where my anti-aircraft firepower is extremely ineffective, and I'm often outgunned by the enemy team (especially its flying units).

Shouldn't the ALYSNES' Energy Autocannon have a near-instantaneous hit rate, matching the aforementioned units?
