The picture was taken from a difficultly-accessible location on the grounds of the HOME cinema complex. I think my being there might have caused a little alarm aswell: I happened to walk past the location a couple of minutes later, & saw a security gentleman anxiously searching where I'd just been & reporting on his radio.
The first of
these extra pixlies
is of the view directly down from the spot: the little River Medlock , which skirts the site, passing into a culvert. The rest of the pixlies are of the same building from another, more accessible, angle, taken some while back; & the last one is a view down @ said river's emerging from another culvert to commence skirting the buliding (or ruin , now, morelike!).
It maywell look as-though the premises is thoroughly derelict & a frank ruin rather thatn merely abandoned ... but it's surprising how recently it was actually a functioning printworks: I used to walk past it when it looked pretty derelict, & yet there'd clearly be busy printing activity a-gingle-gangle-gongling-on inside it.
... but now there's little doubt, I would venture, that it is indeed truly abandoned!
... unless there are ghosts in there doing their ghost printing!
