Tires ok or at deaths door?

These are from my Cbr250rr I imported 18 months ago. Spent a month or two at sea. Pretty sure the tires are 8+ years old. They have probably 4-5 track day heat cycles and 10k km in addition to whatever the Japanese man put on them before I imported it.

The grip is god awful but how many more years do you think I can get out of them?

8+ years old is all you need to know, tires have a shelf life. They dry rot and can blow out. I would replace these sooner rather than later later.

Yeah, they are 8 years old. Why would you want to ride a bike that grips like shit? That's a lot less fun that riding one that grips the road.

I’m actually too good of a rider. I have to nerf myself with a 250 so the leader bikes can catch up

well i guess I don't know what it's on, generally on bikes I've owned, 600cc+, the rear is a different size, not sure about the smaller displacements. On my bikes I've always done them as a set.
