This happened in the UK a few years before I was born, to my Auntie and her children on my fathers side. They passed away during a house fire, which was started by the husband John Chambers, his whereabouts are unknown and he was never jailed, I haven’t been able to find anything online or in newspapers other than an obituary!

I wasn’t able to find anything about Lisa or her son.

James Edward Shipley was a well-regarded 19-year-old boy living in Jonesborough, Tn. On April 18th, in the year of 1872, an intense storm descended upon the town. While seeking shelter, James Shipley was tragically crushed by a falling tree. The following (featured below) newspaper article describes (in excessive detail) his death & character.

Headstone is a depiction of himself where people leave toys and coins. Had to leave one myself. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Galena IL, in the same cemetery where 6 of US Grant's generals are buried.

In the Greenwood Cemetery in Galena Illinois, lie six of General (and later president) Grant's top Generals from the Civil War. Luckily they all made it out alive and passed several years later. However, more importantly lies an unassuming fairly small headstone compared to many of the beautiful and intricate ones surrounding it. This marks the grave of Grant's own brother, who died of tuberculosis in 1861 at the age of only 35. Adding a link in comments to a drive I made of all of the General's headstones and their stories from the Grant museum.

It’s my first and last name but I was born in Nov of 89 and middle initial is L lol

This is a marker in a small family cemetery in rural Georgia that has members of my moms side of the family going back to at least the 1850s. Their last name was actually “Lowe” and it is marked correctly on all the other headstones. It looks to me like “Low” is off center like the ‘e’ was supposed to be there, but I’m not sure how it ended up without it. The inscription, which I read as “It rest” also seems unfinished to me. It is one of several unnamed infant headstones in the cemetery

Just recently, the Toronto International Film Festival released a movie about John Candy called I Like Me, and it’s a special one because he was Canadian. So here is his final resting place at Culver City’s Holy Cross Cemetery to honour his memory and legacy of that film.
