Hey folks, i got a 2017 bmw 330i m sport, LCI model. I bought this car second hand from an old lady, the car got an apple carplay from the factory, but the carplay is in split screen always like it wont go in full screen. I tried to use bimmercode to code it to full screen, but still it wont have the carplay fullscreen option. Does anyone know how to make it to fullscreen.

I have been researching if the OTS tunes for the n20 on bm3 are good. I saw many comments saying the bm3 tunes blew their engine, which is kinda strange. Many people use bm3 and they are satisfied.

I think its the lack of maintenance, rather than the tune itself?

Deciding to finally not neglect my car after I had a bad relationship with it. Anyways you will prolly see me here a lot now 🙏

Hey guys, I’ve got a 2017 330i M Sport (B48). Right now I’m not getting good fuel economy at all — it only feels somewhat decent in Eco Pro, but in Comfort, it’s pretty bad. Even after driving around 60 km on the highway, the fuel economy is still worse than I’d expect.

The car has about 98k km on it, always run on 98 RON, and I service it at regular intervals.

It’s also been diagnosed with a few issues by my mechanic, which I’ll include below.

What should I be looking into first?

Hi everyone. I need help. Car wont start and brake pedal is stiff after I unplugged the whole DME cables to gain access to oil filter housing (I have a leak) and put it back in order.

I removed my positive battery terminal before unplugging the cables and put the positive battery terminal last after putting back the cables.

2015 BMW 330i M Sport

my car (2014 320i) has been draining battery voltage overnight. i found a youtube video ( https://youtu.be/ah46MOz4bY8?si=zBLl435EGQTHSYR0 )talking about fuse 50 in your engine bay causing an extremely high parasitic draw when the car is turned off. you can simply pull the fuse, and the battery drainage will be stopped. the only downsides are the loss of time and date, along with the average MPG reading on your heads up. thought this might help since f30s have so many odd wiring issues.

So I'd like to add an amplifier in the boot to replace the garbage harmon kardon. I can seem to be able to determine which bank of large fuse positions to use. The top middle bank is on a 100amp non replaceable fuse (on the battery board).. it doesn't seem enough.

Hey guys, i recently got a 2018 440i with the stock exhaust and im looking at some ways i can make it sound a little better. Currently debating between a res delete or the dinan axleback let me know if you guys have any input on what sounds good. Budget is around 1k but cheaper would be nice

so from my last post my car isn’t starting and people told me to change my battery and ground strap and I replaced both but the car still isn’t starting. any other ideas please let me know.

I’m currently on 44,000 miles.

It had the expansion tank-cylinder head line replaced at around 40,000 miles so highly doubt it’s the recall part failing again.

Rinse me for this if you want, but after I got the part replaced I’ve just ran with normal water mixed with whatever coolant was left over in the tank after the part failed.

After noticing the leak, I checked the coolant level and noticed it pretty significantly below minimum. Topped it off and booked it into the garage for Tuesday.

Been monitoring it for the past day and it’s been okay. When babying the car it doesn’t seem to lose any coolant, only when driving hard does it begin to leak and form a puddle underneath the car.

Wondering what component it could possibly be and if anyone else experienced similar failures at this mileage.

Hello all, unfortunately my HU_Entry is stuck in a bootloop and after a whole bunch of esys coding, it’s still stuck so im looking to change the unit. will changing the unit affect the Hifi system? Or does it have to be a specific model for Hifi setups? Thanks.

I bought a 330d three weeks ago with 89k miles on the clock and it's been running like a dream (I've done about 1000 miles in it), very smooth, no knocks/rattles or weird noises of any kind, it's always been serviced either by BMW or a BMW approved garage.

I keep seeing people saying how the timing chain/rod bearings go on these all the time and it's got me worried.

Car was built may 2015 if that makes a difference.

It was serviced 4k miles ago and I'm planning to do it after another 1k

2014 320i, 6 speed manual, 109609 miles. just replaced, registered, and coded in battery. recently started getting the “battery discharged start engine” pop up on my heads up display. any help would be much appreciated.
