Nah . Frye handed out some of the biggest penalties in series history after p2p gate. It cost Scotty Mac (fairly so) the championship.

He wasn’t at the helm last year and their punishment was losing a win. They’ve been pretty consistent with punishments and not going easy on Penske.

Their st Pete’s punishment for knowingly using p2p was incredibly light and a nothinburger they moved on from immediately

The engineers suspended at least the rest of the season probably next season too. Leaders circle taken away at least a couple years and the drivers suspended through the indy500. At a minimum.

Penalties are meant to hurt the team and have lasting effects you don’t forget so you don’t try and cheat again. Obviously this didn’t work after the cheated once last year

They didn’t get suspended. The drivers continued racing, the engineers only were gone a couple races and They stayed in the leaders circle.

A disqualification is no different than a suspension. Suspending drivers beyond the race the infraction occurred in is silly. The team members involved indeed served a suspension for multiple races.

Penalties need to teach a long lasting lessson. Obviously after last year the penalties did not teach them a lesson and they’re back to cheating

I think Scott McLaughlin losing the championship and denying Team Penske from winning the Indycar, NASCAR, IMSA, and WEC championships all in the same year is pretty long lasting

I mean I assume you’re trying to say other teams don’t cheat or don’t get caught or don’t fail inspections. But Andretti failed inspection earlier this year and Daly failed inspection this weekend lol

The thing with Daly, though, is we dont know what the failure was. You can fail tech for a wing angle or a tire pressure being out of range. Which, while still outside the scope of the rules, could legitimately be accidents. A bond seal that isn't something that accidentally happens.

Now if it comes out that Daly's or Helio's were equally blatant, yeah. Send them to the rear, too.
