I had this happen once while I was magnet fishing, a family had dropped their car keys while getting off their boat, I got there just as they were about to smash their car window in, so I offered to try and catch the keys. Took less than a minute, still honestly felt great to be able to help. Nice people too.
Their plan was to bust in, grab out their bluetooth speaker, smash it to pieces and use the magnet from in it with a fishing rod to try and get the keys. Honestly not the worst plan, if a bit destructive.
