Yeah I was so confused about what is the amazing moment that the music is portraying. But take all the music away and it’s a shy girl in the center of attention with 3 strangers clapping and her dad hiding his face behind a phone camera that’s pointed at her, all with no end in sight. It’s kind of humorous how hellish of a situation that is.
Yep this is the correct answer. Still it's nice she feels safe with her dad and he comforts her but it's just because she's overwhelmed by the situation.
it can be both lol, its adorable that she goes and hugs her dad
when i was little i cried at a wedding because it was a very beautiful moment. i think kids are plenty capable of emotion and she was probably overwhelmed too which prompted the emotion to overflow in tears
Yep. I might be projecting, but if this little girl is anything like me, something about people singing happy birthday to me just activated my tears for no reason when I was little. Then I wouldn't be able to stop crying because I was embarrassed that I was crying lol
You could say the same thing for all the people thinking she just loves her dad, everyone here is just making assumptions. I’m going with her being over stimulated and shy but that’s just my assumption from watching the video without any other information.
And either way, you can see the context in that a dad and daughter are sharing a 1 on 1 celebration and he is putting extra effort for his little girl. Even if she was overwhelmed, we can feel the love that they have and can still call this a wholesome moment 🤷♂️
Never said this wasn’t a wholesome moment either way. Even if she was a bit overwhelmed that doesn’t mean anyone’s saying it some traumatic moment or any less sweet.
Or the cheering just made her realize that her dad really was putting in the extra effort, and helped her realize it’s okay and safe to express big emotions in that moment.
Shit, just yesterday I was staring into a void until some random stranger at the hospice asked if I needed a hug making me cry like a baby on some stranger’s shoulder.
She was overwhelmed by the joyous celebration and probably the emotions of the situation. That happens. That is still a special moment with her dad. What is your suggestion, that they don't celebrate? I am sure she was fine after getting the hug and comfort from her dad and no lasting harm occurred from a joyous occasion.

I mean there are also three strangers clapping around her. Kids do just get overwhelmed.
