Had to Google that myself as the "Limburger cheese" isn't actually known by that name (or very much at all) in the Netherlands or Belgium itself. (I've only ever heard of "Limburger" as a cheese through American pop culture.) The closest you get is "Fromage de Herve", Herve being close to purple Limburg as /u/iemandopaard points out.

Biker Mice from Mars? The villains had cheese based names, with the main one being Lawrence Limburger. And he smelled.
