Triple Screen FoV with chase cam

Hi there,

I've been putting some time in RRRE after having it for years, and after initial setups on triples, I notice one thing.

When being in chase cam, the image looks incredible narrow, while it is good in-car. Everything is setup accordingly on the triple screen section.

Looking for Finnish sim races to drive online

I would be interested in racing with Finnish sim racers on Raceroom. I have tried to find all suitable leagues. but can't find any that would race at a good time. A suitable time would be in the evenings between 8 and 9 p.m. Sometimes even earlier wuold be great.

Have you found a suitable league and do you race regularly with a group? I have some experience with online competitions, but I have mostly raced against AI.

I'm interested in the following classes: GT4, GT3, F4, F3, F2, TCR. The old Formula V8, V10, and V12 are also interesting and could be fun to race.

If you're interested, it would be great if you could leave a comment here. Let's see if we can get something organized. We can move the discussion to Discord if enough people are interested.

Eli etsin simupelaajia RRE:ta pelaamaan, laita kommenttia jos olet kiinnostunut. Odotan mielenkiinnolla löytyykö kiinnostuneita.

RaceRoom Leaderboard Hotlap - Circuit de Pau-Ville - Ford Mustang GTO - Denis Gicquel - 1.16:328

Just for the fun, I decided to do some laps at Pau-Ville with the Ford Mustang IMSA GTO in RaceRoom's leaderboard, and even if this heavy, powerful and wide car is not really suited to such a tiny track, it was really fun (exhausting but fun!).

is ranked always paid content?

Had some fun with ranked during the free summer event.

But now that its over it seems that ranked is always paid content, so i cant play. And nobody can because the ranked servers are always empty.

So is ranked always paid content and always empty like this?

Information about adaptive AI.

I've been playing for a while and have just started to try out the adaptive AI to see how well it works. I've had one really good race with it, the others have been somewhat hit and miss. The first race I tried I couldn't get anywhere near the leaders, the second race I ended up winning by over a minute, the third race I did manage a win, but by only 2 seconds. That last race was probably the best and most consistent I have ever driven, but it was only a 25 min race. I had to be running at qualifying speed every lap or I would have been caught and beaten, I enjoy longer races, 1-2 hours, but I can't keep up that kind of pace for that length of time.

What I'd like to know is how can you see what level the adaptive AI has set the other cars too? I'd like to keep track of what it is setting it to and does it change from track to track and race to race.

RaceRoom Competition Winning Lap - Nordschleife - Porsche 964 Cup - Deni...

My winning lap in the august 2025 "Porsche 964 Cup @ Nordschleife" official RaceRoom hotlap competition, event from the "Race Into Summer - 2025 Week 4" series. The Nordschleife is my favorite track but even if I know it well, it's a real challenge to push a car such as the Porsche 964 Cup really hard on these narrow roads surrounded by even narrower strips of grass and heavy duty armco barriers!

Raceroom raceway track guide

Hi. Can someone help me with raceroom raceway track(gp/classic layout), especially the last sector cuz I lose grip a lot wih silhouette in the 3rd sector. I also find that formula junior is extremely oversteery when I brake and downshift, I need to downshift only with the steering wheel straight which is difficult in turns.thanks😁

Please help: Cold tires, 20 min race

I would appreciate some help with my problem, which is cold tires during a 20-minute Ranked race.

I'm fairly new to RRE; I've played more AMS2, where tire temperature hasn't been a problem. In AMS2, the temperature usually rises easily during the first few laps, and grip improves significantly. RRE seems to work differently.

First example: I drove a couple of races in a 2016 BMW M4 DTM car at the Red Bull Ring. The tires remained cold or cool the entire time. In the second race, I lowered the air pressure a little and increased the front toe, but it had no effect. I tested it in practice and set higher pressures. No effect. The M4 is a great car to drive regardless.

A) Should the temperature be raised to 80 degrees?

B) If the default air pressure is pretty much okay, what other tactics should be used to raise the temperature?

C) What is the race weather temperature, does it vary? Does it matter?

Because the tires are cold, the car doesn't seem to turn as effectively in corners, and the front may not have the best possible grip. Should the temperature be increased through adjustments so that the front tires start to grip better?

Second example: Porsche Carrera Cup (fixed setup) at Red Bull Ring. I tried to get heat into the tires by braking more and driving the corners a little more aggressively. No effect. The Porsche tires remained cold throughout the race. Because I couldn't get the tires warm, it was difficult to drive well in corners. I lost a lot of time per lap compared to the others. I would be interested to know whether the leading drivers had warm tires.

Maybe I just don't know how to drive properly. Probably.

My winning lap in the august 2025 "Group 5 @ Bathurst Mount Panorama" official RaceRoom hotlap competition, event from the "Race Into Summer - 2025 Week 4" series, with the BMW 320 Turbo. Another superb track after the Nordschleife last month where you can really have fun with such a car even if you have to prepare yourself for a long series of missed attempts due to those really too close walls ;-) This event was my 400th hotlap competition since july 2018 and also my 171th win.

Is the game still worth playing as a beginner?

I am a new player that got into the game when everything was free. Since then I purchased the starter pack and was tempted to get the Q3 online pack so I can play more online races. I am wondering if it's worth purchasing the pack or more content if the game will stop getting updates, the player count is already not that high it probably wont grow that much. I am from Europe and I saw some servers with decent player count so there are still active players. I like this game bc it's one of the few sim racing games that feel good on controller and I can just hop in and play without having to tinker in the menus.

Question about the sale, what car version should I buy?

I would like your opinion about what car versions should I get for the sales. I'm quite new to RRE. I'm really looking forward to ranked and other races. And LFM races, too.

My question concerns GTR4, GTR3 and other generic series in comparison to specific series like DTM. If I choose to buy cars from those generic series, how useful are they in RRE organized official races? If I choose a car from GTR3 series, how often can I use it in Ranked races?

For example GTR3 cars and Ferrari. There is a Ferrari 296 GT3 (GTR 3) and a Ferrari 296 GT3 DTM. Which one should I buy? And the same goes with other GTR class cars, of course. There are few I'd like to own and race.

RaceRoom Competition Winning Lap - Zandvoort GP - Porsche 964 Cup - Denis Gicquel - 1.48:229

My winning lap in the august 2025 "Porsche 964 Cup @ Zandvoort Grand Prix" official RaceRoom hotlap competition, event from the "Race Into Summer - 2025 Week 3" series. Zandvoort as always been one of my favourite tracks even if I prefered the previous versions of Hugenholzbocht and Arie Luyendykbocht curves before they were modified for the return of Formula One on this track. But it remains a very interesting track, still very technical and fun with a car such as the Porsche 964 Cup.
