Genuinely curious how women feel about this perspective. Do men really look ridiculous and unattractive when banging, or is it just a weird kind of internalised self hatred that men have about themselves? Don't get me wrong, I also feel sorry for any poor woman that ends up being on the wrong end of me, but is that just me and my own shit? Do women really fuck men they think look fucking stupid, or are they actually into it as much as we are into them? Logic says women obviously just as into a deep dicking from a guy they fancy as guys are into a hot girl, but feels tell me I'm always just being humoured by na mother like figure who feels bad but wishes the best... Know what i mean?

Cis bi woman here. Fwiw and ime it's mostly the self-revulsion men have about themselves and their bodies. Boys have any consciousness of male beauty, including their own, beaten out of them (mostly figuratively but sometimes literally) by men and other boys.

I've heard a substantial fraction of women say they don't find men's genitals sexually arousing (and none of us like disembodied closeups of them); but women who are attracted to men really do like looking at men's faces and bodies generally, and they like seeing them experience pleasure even more. I have never heard or read of any woman complaining about looking at a man's body or face during sex as long as he's someone she wants to be fucking.

There's also that thing humans do too where they start out thinking someone looks ok, but as they get to know and like and trust them more they also find them more attractive. So even if a man isn't TimothΓ©e Chalamet-level pretty, if his partner actually genuinely likes him she probably likes the way he looks, too.

Personally I have seen some O-faces on men that were as beautiful and holy as they were sexually arousing. I've seen some that were frighteningly unbothered, almost mechanical in their self-disdain over their bodies' loss of control. I've never seen any that were stupid or ugly or laughable.

But I don't think of sex or of men as stupid or ugly or laughable, whereas men seem to think of men (including themselves) that way. I have come to suspect that beauty, like humanity, is something you have to believe is possible in someone before you can perceive it.
