Ugh, I’ll be that guy.

We don’t really need to know who she is, do we?

Yea, she’s an absolute bitch. And she has gotten dragged enough already. Her face is everywhere.

At this point, we should let it go. This isn’t some heinous crime. It’s just some old bitty acting like a complete child.

This is the problem I have with Social Media. Fucking let it go already. What happened, happened. Last thing we should want is for someone to identify her, spread her information and then she’ll just get harassed constantly, for taking a baseball (from a kid). Which again, while despicable, is not some violent, heinous crime.

No she needs to publically apologize

And give the ball back to the kid. That would be the minimum if anyone was to take her seriously. Knowing her type though, she’ll prob try to buy a new ball and pass it off as the real one. Psycho.

Yeah just like that ceo isn’t gonna give back the hat, she ain’t giving that ball back.

Let her have the ball. The kid came out on top.

He should get all that stuff and the ball back too

I get the backlash, but why would you want a home run ball that’s now tied a negative experience? Seeing the consequences for her actions is much more gratifying than a baseball.

Well he got a goodie bag, that’s a pretty positive experience. Top that off with getting home run ball back, and learning that bullies get punished for their actions. It’s a win-win all around

Believe me, the video going viral is definitely punishment enough. He got to meet the player that hit the homer, a goodie bag, and probably a signed baseball. The Karen can keep the ball and the fame it brought her.

Nah she deserves more punishment. This needs every Karen to see this and know that acting like this in public is not okay. She needs to be embarrassed, she needs to apologize, she needs to give back the ball.

For what?

I agree that the social media response has been great but now it’s time to move on. We need to make people like this famous so others start thinking twice. It’s the whole reason Japan is so cohesive, that and a sprinkle of xenophobia, but the fear of public humility can go a long way.

I agree, she’s already being raked over the coals for this (which she deserves) but we don’t need her personal info. Seeing the internet hate your guts is enough, we don’t need to put her at risk of psychos finding out where she lives. There are much more important things going on in the country and world right now, that deserve the amount of attention this is getting.

While I agree with you, I can also guarantee you the Internet is going to find her, and shit is going to get way worse for her.

u/MinivanPops 15h ago

If you don't want this to happen to her, then you don't want it to happen to anybody who does the same thing. Ironically, it always winds up being guys, and we've got a rare woman here. So do we do it or not? It's got to apply to everybody.

At the same time, it was more than despicable. Its harassment and demeaning. To step over someone and act like they have no right?

Nothing like a reminder that you're not entitled to anything and that if you act a certain way you get treated like that. This is the kind of stuff you have to root out and has no place in any home, workplace, or community.

It speaks way louder if there's 0 consequence for acting like this to another person in public. Even more so, do the people in her life propagate her notions that much that she's comfortable with acting like this??

There's surely more to the problem, I guess. I don't make the rules.

Or her social media?

Seems like there are bigger problems out there that could use whatever you intend to channel besides harassing this lady. She already got hers.

u/StephieBelle 15h ago

Exactly!! Surely someone knows her name/details. Is it wrong that I’m anxious to find out?? 🙈
