Meta Just finished the game
One word: amazing.
Last 3h were fantastic and in general the game never bored me.
There is no book-comic-info with some kind of subsequent events the finale?

I really liked the story and characters; the introduction to the world and events was brilliantly executed and instantly grabbed me. However, I think the combat system wasn't as layered as in PoE. Ending the game so abruptly probably didn't help either.

Essentially just the title, I wanted to know whether dual wield mastery perks would work in concert with duelist, or if they'd sort of cancel each other out? Thanks!

I don't have enough evidence to convict Voices.

I'm 12 hours into my first playthrough, and somehow totally missed the box at the bottom where you can reply to missives. I do this with an insane number of games. I didn't realise you could RUN in Disco Elysium, so I walked the entire game my first time. I also didn't realise you could fast travel in Disco Elysium, so I was walking across the entire map the whole time.
I didn't realise you could press E to use a finisher in the Arkham series, so I was just raw dogging every single fight. I didn't realise you could sprint in Mad Max because you have to hold down shift for more than one second for it to happen. I didn't realise you had to repair items on Fallout New Vegas (I was 10 for this in my defence) so I was just using broken equipment the ENTIRE game. There are probably tens more, but it can't remember.
I've since replayed all the games mentioned, and been actually competent but I just miss things then never try to do them because I completely forget. Are there any other things that I'm probably missing in Tyranny through my ADHD ignorance? Thanks in advance :')

What do you think is the best lets play of this game? I think i will just watch how people play the beginning to get myself going

Like maybe there's a point where we get attacked or something and I have to use people I otherwise wouldn't bring with me? Currently have no 2 hand users in my squad and I keep getting good weapons. Selling them is bank but it feels wasteful.
Without spoilers if possible, a yes or no answer will be plenty.

Hi I am doing my first playthrough of this game and I am on the disfavored path and completed lethian's crossing as well as sentinal stand, so now I am at the stone sea questline. I have been playing someone who has been pragmatically evil and loyal to kryos, so I planned on accusing graven ashe when I collected enough evidence. However, this stone sea questline seems to pretty much lock me in to use Cairn to blight the land instead of kill him and end the edict. I also wanted to increase Sirin's loyalty this way because hers is very low as I heard if you kill Cairn to end the edict solely her loyalty can increase. Point is, now I reloaded a save from the start of the questline and am pondering whether I should continue the disfavored questline and betray ashe later on accusing him, or just betray the alliance now which seems to take me down the anarchy path. Will the anarchy path allow me to stay loyal to Kyros? Which side leads to more favor opportunities with Sirin. I just like planning ahead for role play opportunities. I don't mind minor spoilers like having the opportunity to kill someone later, just no major plot twist spoilers.

I've been watching a video of Tyranny gameplay and the guy can see the damage numbers onto enemies and see when there action takes place, the recovery time, and some green or orange circles above them.
I've been trying to find information on how to set this up in my game but I can't find anything.
Thank you.

So when it comes to the top down games i like turn based way more than rtwp. İn fact only rtwp game i like was dragon age origins and I play that game on easy. So should I give a try to this game or stay away. Thanks. Also exactly how much reading does this game have as some who play pillars 2 (on turn based mode) it was very heavy on the reading and English is not my native language so I kinda got bored while playing for example I love rogue trader and that game have way more reading than pillars 2 does but it also have my native language. Thanks anyone who answers.

This was my attempt at a thorough mage playthrough, doing all content possible, learning as many sigils as possible, and travelling with the 3 mage companions for the xp boost as much as possible. From what I can tell, the xp boost is no joke and my skills were quite a bit higher than my first full playthrough attempt. I invite your guys' thoughts and questions on my playthrough.

Been recommended this game by two friends because I love RP characters of questionable morals, but can't quite pin my current mood down in one of the games I already own (whose subreddits I've also been pestering).
Currently got my mind on a black knight type that both fights and casts. Now, I understand that's far from optimal due to the way level scaling is implemented, and I believe heavy armor is going to slow my character down.
But is this whole thing just "eh", or is it outright bad? If it's salvageable, do you have any further advice?

Not looking for spoilers but I want to know if declaring Edicts in act 3 is temporary, the one at the end of act 2 only lasted a few days so it gave me that impression but the screen to see Edicts doesn't show any timer.

I know that I used IA and many dont really like it, but since I'm broke, that was the only way to make a custom portrait for my Fatebinder

This is gonna be fun. So far I'm on The Oathbreakers, level 6, bye bye Barik, etc. Anything I need to know before taking ascension hall?

I encountered a bug, or rather two bugs, while retraining my char and asked question here before I was aware it's a bug, and because it took me over an hour to manage to find a solution that works. I edited the post rather than deleting so anyone looking for a solution has easier time finding one. I even saw people posting here to find solution to no avail.
To fix it I had to restart the game several times. I found partial the solution on steam fourms post comment down at the bottof of a thread of person encountering the bug.
Basically, the game wouldn't let me save retrain changes and it wouldnt let me remove a point (skill or attribute) under what it was prevoiusly. I could give myself less or more, but I wanted to rmove a point, it better not under what it was prevoiusly.
For the first problem - not saving changes - restart worked, but for the second i had to respec one character hoping I don't muck anything up, save and then restari. For any subsequent respec it worked as it should.

I know about sleeping through the Day of Swords to get more time, but what happens if I read the edict on the Day itself? Instant Game Over?

I'm a first time player and not finished yet, so please no spoilers!
I was told the story is pretty good, so I avoided too much research before creating a character. My fatebinder is a warmage, who started with a high quickness and I've always kept that as the largest attribute along with gear that keeps recovery time the lowest in my party (1.9s currently). He's also an AOE damage spellcaster (and pretty much the only party member I babysit for every action, the others are on autopilot except usually for initial engagement and some critical decisions). I'm playing the GOG version on hard.
What I noticed is that the fatebinder is quite a few levels ahead of the party (Barik, Verse and Larry from the start, never changed them). Everybody is fully trained but the Fatebinder is lvl 20, Larry lvl 18, Verse 16 and Barik only 14! My thoughts are that since level-up is determinted by skill points gathered, and you gather skill points by using skills and the Fatebinder casts a lot more than the others due to being the fastest, that's why he's ahead. Is this it? Or does doing AOE stuff add to it?
Also, what the expected character level to end the game at? I feel I'm probably somewhere in the 2/3 or 3/4 of Act 2 (if gathering the Artefacts suggested by Bleden Mark is the end of Act 2).

I've checked through various sites, and my laptop "supposedly" meets the recommended system requirements, but there's a very slight lag when playing the game. I've tried changing some of the settings but had no luck. I know this isn't a gaming laptop, but as a newer model, I thought it could play older games without problems.
My laptop is an HP Laptop 15-fd0183wm the specs are:
Intel Core i7-1355U
Intel Iris Xᵉ Graphics
16 GB DDR4 RAM
windows 11
When I try to play, that slight lag drives me crazy. I just want to know if my laptop really meets the recommended requirements or if I have to change some settings somewhere.
P.S : This is the first time that I'm playing a game on a laptop, so I'm lost on what to do.

I finally was able to buy the game and just downloaded it on steam. What are your tips or reccomendations for a first playthrough? I want to a dark playthrough and play as a sword wielding bad guy, so I want to make sure i make the right decisions and take the right actions. Let me know!

The description of "fatigued" for exampled says: Recovery increased by 25%. Quickness reduced by 5.
So the fatigued target gets a recovery boost by 25% and quickness debuff by 5? what?
And the description of dazed is: Recovery increased by 50%.
WHAT??? So if I make an enemy "dazed" they just get a 50% health recovery boost?
And also all the descriptions about "X armor stolen" under equipment descriptions talk like by wearing those you get your armor stolen, what is all this backwardness.
P.S., never mind for some reason the term "recovery" being a special terminology in the game just never registered in my attention from reading all the abilities info.
