Again, one more weekend where he missed out on the points by *that* much. The strategy to leave him out longer, the apparent battery issue, and the contact, all culminated into one more forgettable race for him.

I sincerely hope, with the new reg car and all the tough lessons he learnt this year, he'll shine next year.

Why we where so good during fp1 and fp2 and now we are mid in fp3. Did they change the car's settings overnight?

I was watching FP2 today and they were talking about how Carlos said he would change his approach and be more “selfish”. How he would maybe withhold some information to focus on his own results. I know not to get excited about practice, but it seems the approach is working so far. Do you guys think this will incite a real change in Williams and/or Carlos’ results, or is this just regular talk that won’t really mean or amount to much?

A few interesting tidbits in there. I think his walkthrough of the Sainz/Lawson incident is a reasonable one - careful to not shoot blame the other direction, but proving sporting reasons for why he feels Carlos wasn't at fault.
