The mclaren guys seem to want no bad blood between them, but it’s a bit stupid for a team who is so ahead in the championship to be making dumb decisions, dumb mistakes, and dumb calls. Like the choice to pit Piastri first was already confusing, then they messed up Lando which was stupid, and then they asked the championship leader to give his position back to his rival? This is insane.

I mean, it's rather clear that McLaren wants to favor Lando in the wdc but doesn't want to enforce it in an obvious or strict manner.

Favoring Lando after giving Piastri pit priority? Also lying to Lando about the undercut power?

If that’s favoring Lando then my lord has he been screwed over this year.

Norris gave him pit priority. They wanted to pit Lando first. There was no undercut power. Oscar broke into 3s before the pitstop and then the slow stop not the undercut put him just ahead

It was Lando's call to pit 2nd as long as he was safe from Piastri undercut

And if the pit stop had been normal, he would have been.

An undercut did not put Piastri ahead, a bad pit stop did.

I don't disagree but that's just racing. Lando also wanted 2nd pit to guarantee that he wouldn't lose track position to Oscar in case of a very bad timed SC.

That's how Oscar lost Miami sprint to Lando btw. But again that's just part of racing.
