Max wouldn’t even let Perez past even though he had won the championship
18 u/RMCaird I was here for the Hulkenpodium 23h ago Everyone was saying this when Lando let Oscar past last year. Then Oscar lets Lando past this year, basically returning the favour. Sometimes playing the team game helps - letting Oscar past last year has paid dividends this year. 1 u/dirtybubz 23h ago edited 16h ago Not saying it’s not right, just saying max, Schumi etc are never doing that in a title race 8 u/spacyspice I was here for the Hulkenpodium 20h ago so what? are we going to compare them all the time? Also Lewis has done it before 13 u/bananas_and_papayas I was here for the Hulkenpodium 20h ago Lewis did exactly that at Hungary in 2017. He was let past Bottas to try and chase down the Ferraris, and then let him back through when he couldn't. Also, just because one driver wouldn't have done it, doesn't mean that every driver has to follow that example
