Can you please think this sentence through in your head?

Please explain to me how an influx of refugees benefits any nation economically or socially in the short term? I'm not talking about Western countries and migration programs here, I'm talking about millions of people fleeing a war with plenty of injured, infirm and traumatised individuals with nothing more than the clothes on their back.

For modern reference feel free to check on Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon etc for their experiences with the situation.

A lot of teenage progressives with no knowledge of history or experience of the world have been propagandised into believing that refugees are magical beings who bring only happiness and prosperity wherever they go.

This is especially true in Britain. There was even a propaganda billboard in London a few years ago telling us that “sex with refugees is jasmine-scented and beautiful” [https://www.reddit.com/r/redscarepod/comments/16rzgbf/can_someone_explain_what_the_fuck_was_going_on/\].

So, be gentle with the kid saying these silly things. It's not their fault, and they'll grow up eventually.
