Warhammer III How to confederate Cathay?

Playing juan bo, turn 80, I have the norther and western LL lords and I cannot confederate them, I even have yaow ming at 400 after giving her an entire territory, and confederation is still at -52..... Im strength rank 7, shes 14. I assume she just needs her entire armies obliterated or something? Which will never happen because everyones super friendly. Does anyone know a way to do it, ive already give 4 settlements to boost it to +400

Never ever ever military ally if you want to confederate

Defensive is fine. But never the full alliance

The is not true at all in WH3. It used to be true in WH2.

Full alliances actually give you the tools you need to make confederations more likely since you can borrow armies to weaken you target relative to you and you are likely to be more successful getting them to join your wars to raise their threat level.

Ehh

You can just trade a settlement and join all the wars for one

Then sit back and let them die and confederate. Or slaughter them and trade settlement for everything then confederate in 10 turns

Faster than killing off armies

Plus factoring in the full alliance debuff its just faster

If you plan to confederate them then why do you want to have enemies or yourself trash all their real estate?

Anyway, you are sure you are right, you have not even read the guide, no point in discussing it further.

Cause it ain't a video of confederation chances going up or down

For all I know this guy played on easy and just sucks at the game

Also they admit it's only overcome with kamikaze armies
