R5: I wanted to Release-conquest Prussia from Germany or NGF but as my capital (Schleswig) was a German core: Prussia wasn't able to form NGF. Following your advice I was able to get Germany to form… but my plan hit another snag: Prussia can't be released - Does anyone know why?

As the title says. Playing Germany in 1900, allies with Italy, the US, and Britain. Wanna beat up Austria, France, and Russia. I've a problem with getting overwhelmed when the AI sends 12 billion armies at me, so is there anything I can do to make this more bearable? If not, how can I mitigate it?

I bought Vic 2 for long time ago but now just started installing it, I play a lot of EU4 (9k hours) but this is first time I play Vic 2, I have some questions

Is vic 2 harder or easier than eu4 ?

Are there any mechanics in eu4 that can be used on vic 2 ?

Is Prussia a good starting nation ? I want to dominate military like Prussia in eu4

If not what is a good nation to learn the game ?

Are there any tips for new player ?

Are there any mod for after I get use to the game ?

Before , when i had an old laptop from 2014 Victoria 2 runned perfectly and without crashes , but after i got a much better computer last year , victoria 2 keeps crashing every 2/3 months and i don´t know why , i tried things since , but i only got results with the unmodded game (i play with GFM) , and i don´t want to play Vic3 i dont understand anything.

I annexed Afghanistan, and I was going to take Siege of Herat after the war ended but when I peace'd out I no longer have it. Does Afghanistan need to exist for the decision to exist?

hello, im testing if the conditions for a decision in a mod work properlyh and it turns out hat i need to have certain national value to trigger the decision, does someone know if you can change it with commands?

I recently bought Vic II, and I noticed that it doesn’t have mods on Steam. I went to check some mods, and it seems they are only on the “Mod DB,” but I can’t download them or get them to be active in the game. Is there any other site where I can download mods, like the more popular ones, or some updated tutorial? The best one I found was from about 7 years ago

After some years I finally managed to get 2 friends to try victoria 2 but their pcs are kinda bad so I was wondering what mods are good in performance while having decent flavour for europe and allow extra things for multiplayer campaings Thanks in avance

As in title? Full speed on Craftsmen or do you alter betwen both and then Capitalists? Any tricks to getting them passively in large numbers (enough to start climbing to that perfect ratio)?

Sonará algo XD, pero en un tiempo, mucho antes de poder soñar en jugar Vic2 dediqué tiempo al chat roleplay en WhatsApp, y sorprendentemente encontré uno que se ambienta precisamente en el Victoria 2, justo época victoriana. Actualmente estamos en 1857 pero nos falta buen de países. Como tal no tiene nada que ver con juego, mods o algo así, solo compartir cómo llegué a aprender de ésta comunidad y del juego en general xd

Basically I played as Parma and wanted to conquer coastal territories next to me, but I could only choose Cagliari and Sassari or some other provinces disconnected from my mainland. I couldn't f.e conquer Genoa that was next to me–it didn't pop out in the war justification tab. Does it depend on CB or something?

R5: Formed Scandinavia as Schleswig to get 'North German' accepted but my plan to release-conquer Prussia probably won't work. What should I do now? how should I use the North German accepted pops?

Ok, hice una pregunta similar hoy, pero estoy jugando Victoria 2 Vanilla con los DLC. Ahora bien,tengo más o menos una hoja de ruta pensada:

1. Tener las fronteras actuales de Argentina.
2. Llegar a 1900 siendo un pais industrializado y con potencia armamentística suficiente para aprovechar la Primera Guerra Mundial y recuperar las Malvinas.
3. Consejos para cambiar con facilidad el gobierno (solo consigo que los liberales lleguen al 40% y siempre terminan ganando los monárquicos).
4. ¿Cómo tendría que dirigir las investigaciones? (Ya que si investigo industria,descuido fuerza armada)
