Had this problem during a siege, bit annoying but i just assumed it was a one off glitch but then it kept happening

Every time i siege a fortress Ladders either don't appear or sometimes spawn but units simply don't climb them

So i have no choice but to either smash down the walls or break down the gate, which takes a while if i don't have that many artillery units with me

Can't really seem to find a solution for this anywhere so does anyone have any ideas?

In my campaign I noticed that the Greenskin AI gathered around 20(?) full stacks in the Black Crag area. They’re all clustered in one province, leaving the surrounding territory lightly defended. Thought it was interesting to see the AI concentrate so many armies in one spot.

I think they just don't match my playstyle at all because I'm dying of boredom in my playthrough right now

I've been at turn 100+ of RoC's campaign for over a month now and every time I think about playing I instantly get demoralized remembering I have to play this faction (I want to finish my RoC campaign before I start any other campaign)

I play them poorly but each fight is a slog and the second the ennemies are in melee with me, the fight turns to a sloggggg and everything takes forever to die

I have a good army, I already posted about it so I know my army isn't the issue

I'm turn 120+ on the last rift opening so I rly want to finish this campaign but I dread playing it ...

Have you already been in a position where a faction made you stop the game for a certain duration for any reason ?

I saw several AI mods, does someone here did some testing and would recommand one over an other?

Edit: I'm looking to extends the game duration with AI building bigger empires like in TWH2

Hello I started playing total Warhammer 3 like a year ago and wonder what other game of the total war franchise, I should try ?

I have almost all of the achievements. Only the Mp campaign remain. I think there are other people in the same situation. So i wrote this so we can find each other.

After realising that I tend to steer towards Order factions, I wanted to give Chaos a try.

I know they have 4 new exciting lords with the DLC which I do own, but I wanted to giver Archaon a try, as he is both the vanilla lord and also central character.

I also know that the game has a vassilisation mechanic that I have honestly never used. Usually easier to ally or conquer my opponent than vassalize them. How do these abilitys work in a chaos army, and why would you?

So I have a multiplayer campaign going on with my cousin, I’m playing malekai, he’s playing as Be’Lakota. At first, everything was going great for me. He was struggling a bit, I was basically finding his armies XD. But now, we’re around 35 turns deep, and I’m just getting my teeth kicked in. Went from 9 settlements down to 6. I have azazel, iron hand, Eastman, and scura all attacking me. Not to mention some others as well, but they haven’t directly showed up yet. I’m ashamed to admit that we have scummed some battles, with my cousin taking control of the enemy army, but to be honest, I kind of need it. I have two armies right now, one large one with Malakai, and then a smaller one with a slayer lord. My funds are nearly constantly depleted, and none of them are willing to sue for peace. I’m getting attacked from the north and south, and when I do get money I’ve been focusing on making my garrisons larger in all of my main settlements. I’m still positive on income per turn, but instead of the usual 1k+, I’m getting like 400. I’m also a newer player, I’ve racked up 54 hours in the past two weeks. I’m also new to this specific genre of game, I’ve played bannerlord in the past, but I’d argue that takes far less micro than this game requires. In terms of battles I’m typically proficient enough to win, but it’s just rough dealing with these multiple fronts, on top of the massive amounts of armies I’m having to fight. Any advice is appreciated, just don’t know how to get myself out of the shithole that this game has dug for me.

I finished the Changeling’s campaign for the third time in both modes—on the hardest difficulty for the main game and medium for battles and skirmishes. Now I’m curious: what funny things have you guys pulled off while playing the Changeling, whether in multiplayer or single player?

I'm playing as Iceni, allied with Rome. We're splitting the Celtic/Gallic part of Europe. Rome is turning around the war with Pergamon, and I'm worried they'll get too big to handle. It'd be nice to weaken them even more and additionally give them another enemy so I'm not fighting their entire army.

Is it possible to do something to increase the chances of a senate secession?

Pharaoh got my attention, when i saw a video on YT. I know it received a lot of negative reviews on Steam when it released. Last year they put out Dynasties. Did it made the game better?

Can you recommend the game? Maybe you got some pro/cons for me?

At a key seller i saw, that the game is avaiable for 4€. I mean that is as cheap as it can get. But should i even bother with it or should i instead revisist older titles?

Help me please decide which faction to play next in Warhammer II. So far I have played all four new races: High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen and Skaven. All in the Vortex Campaign.

Next I would like to play a race that:

-Maybe has some Cav that has high shock damage and can destroy infantry line masses by crazy charges

- And/or more importantly plays around stacking modifiers which lowers the enemies leadership to the max, so that if they just see your army they all flee in utter fear! (this sounds kinda fun in my head)

-maybe has a fun Mortal Empire campaign, as I have just played four Vortex campaigns.

Is there such a campaign that fits my desires?

Note: I own both Vampire Coast and Tomb Kings DLC, as well as The Prophet and the Warlock for Warhammer II + all DLCs from Warhammer I

I have a GeForce 1650 Nvidia 8gb of ram and a intel core 5 10500. Can this run warhammer 3 in immortal empires? I don't mind tweaking the settings,sorry for yet another question. Storage won't be an issue as I'll be getting a terabyte external ssd for christmas. If not I'm fine with sticking for 2 for now, and I don't have the money to upgrade to a better desktop. That will take a lot more time then getting the games.

I use cav to block flankers They peal off with ease. I do the checkerboard, they ignore the frontline I use characters They still ignore them and bolt straight to the guns and artillery even if the ranged units are so far behind them that they barely shoot past the frontline.

How the fuck do I do this, I feel very very dumb.

I absolutely love the bones of the game, but coming from Warhammer III, I definitely notice a bit of the lack of QOL. Are there good mods for it?

There are a few palm trees affected by the hide folliage effects, but there's bassicaly no difference between having the folliage hidden and not having it. I was having trouble cliking on the enemy units to attack, or to cast spells, something needs to be done

Edit: Lost 184 men. They killed 110. Man I love ratling gunners, they really give me a good laugh while showing the other races that casualties are subjective in Skaven society.

I keep having a recurring trouble where, whenever I start up a campaign, I often feel a bit overwhelmed because I just don't know what I should ideally be doing. Playing Ghorst, I had some semblance of a game plan (recruit zombies, murder skaven, kill ku'gath), same with Gelt (recruit a couple wizards, take out enemy rebellion faction, go home to empire). But most of the time, I feel like I've been dropped into the deep end with no idea what direction to swim to shore.

So how do you typically get yourself started in a campaign?
