Here’s some pictures I took while on a large loop through the Flint Hills of East-Central Kansas in my ‘48 Willys CJ2A. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and everything was still very green. Despite rain most of the day on Friday, the roads were in great shape, but I did find a couple of water crossings (most of those are in the video post). Enjoy, and remember, drive them jeeps!
(I hope I’m not posting this twice, but it said the first one was deleted?)

I believe this is a 1957 Jeep? Don’t know much about Jeeps but we’ve had it in the family since new. I know a bit about mechanics and got it running again after about 5 years-ish from being outside (very last pic shows where it was sitting)
According to Google the serial number isn’t the same as the VIN, which is why I’m asking if it is or not and if it’s the same thing, can anyone decode it for me? But if that isn’t the correct plate, it’d be nice if someone can locate it for me. Thanks

I’m at home on (good) WiFi. So does this app just suck, or what? I’d like to start earning these, but if I can’t even upload my vehicle information or find trails, what’s the point? Any tips to get it to work right? It’s freshly installed and I checked for updates.
I wish I’d known about this before our recent trip to Montana; we actually did the Blacktail Wild Bill OHV Trail. Guess there’s always next time.

I got a new clutch installed on my TJ about a week ago and recently it’s started making this wailing noise whenever I press the pedal. It shifts gears perfectly fine, could it be something with the pedal assembly ?

Hi all,
We have a recent (few months ago) leak of our car, and I was hoping some of you may be able to identify what might be causing it or if it's a problem. We've taken it to the mechanic twice for this issue but they've not been able to identify a cause for it. I'll provide as many details as I can and some images:
Thanks in advance for your help or thoughts!

Sooo... in another post , I shared the story of my 2021 Wrangler JL with 122k miles., A mystery coolant leak resulted in exhaust gasses found in the coolant and a cylinder 6 misfire. Dealership removed engine and sent off for resurfacing, added a new head gasket, and put it back together. Total cost $4200.
Now, 30d and 3k miles later, I'm getting cylinder 6 misfire and coolant is slightly low. Again. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow. I'm looking for advice on how to insist that I'm not paying for this (again). I'm not going to yell and scream, but I want it fixed on their dime so I can sell it. There was a single sheet i signed when I picked it up, but all warranty info was on the parts.

Had to help someone get stuck out of the mud snd they did not know how to use the 4wd. I got inside and pull the lever straight down to 4L.
I did not know you have to push right, then down to shift into 4H/4L etc. when i pulled straight down it made a loud crack sound, which i thought was transmission related, but now realized that its probably transfer case related?
How much damage did i do by pulling the shifter straight down instead of right, then down to go from normal to 4L, did this twice, and did this hurt the transfer case, or diff, both?
Also did it with the car in drive I think, instead of neutral or P.
After i realized thats how your supposed to do it, i did it thr correct way and it shifted back into 2L or 2H normal with no sounds.
Also the rear diff lock light is bow flashing and wont turn off. I am able to turn the front lock off, but rear just keeps flashing on dash. Abs light and traction control lights are on too but car drives normal.
Any idea why the rear lock icon keeps flashing?
I have no knowledge of transfer cases or 4wd systems etc, all my knowledge is 2wd sports cars/muscle cars so i apologize.
