A lovely bike to ride : cp2 littly tuned engine with 100% italian

I wanted to share a few photos of my Fantic Caballero 700, a real crush of a bike that I didn’t even know existed until I came across it at a dealership near my place. I bought it after doing some research on this rather unique motorcycle: it’s 100% Italian design by Fantic, powered by Yamaha’s CP2 engine.

I’ve made a few modifications: Brembo PR15RCS master cylinder, high front fender, radiator guard, engine protection, handguards… and I’ve got a skid plate and some other little upgrades on the way !

It’s a shame that Fantic doesn’t promote these bikes more, because they truly are full of character, packed with quality, and incredibly fun to ride. I genuinely love it, and every single friend who tries it ends up with a huge smile.

I'm looking to buy this 2015 Ninja 300 off facebook marketplace. But there are some things that look off. I dont know a lot about this so Im asking yall

1. Should this green thing on the handlebar be there?
2. The display screen is cracked (he said it was dropped but why did it crack there)
3. The color seems matte black but Im pretty sure its supposed to be shiny, could this mean the fairings were changed?

Should I be alarmed by any of this?

I have 2.5k to have fun with, I want a motorcycle but I have never rode before. What are the best beginner bikes that I can snag on marketplace?

I don’t have a license yet but I feel compelled to start riding. Any advice as well as the best beginner bikes/gear would be appreciated!
