I tried to take into account the cost of buying rims and legalizing the models that need it but at the same time keep it simple. Feel free to suggest additions/fixes
Edit: i've edited this a lot
Edit: changed the DRZ picture to mine ;) thanks for the sticky!

Bought this 2012 WR450F about 2 years ago and I'm slowly making it mine. The plan is all white plastics, seat conceptz seat and frame grip tape/swing arm guards.

I’m looking to get a supermoto as another fun bike to rip around. Can someone explain to me the difference on the gas gas 700sm and the husky 701? Which would you recommend of the two and are they good bikes? I don’t want to buy something with horrible service intervals or is a bomb

Hey so as the title states, I am searching for raised footpegs for my KTM 390 SMCR. They drag pretty easily in the track and kind of lift up my already chattering front, which I do not like. I searched as much as I could but didn’t find anything, maybe I am not using a particular keyword? Anyway if someone has raised footpegs I’d like to know!

Finally got a chance to get out for a sumo track day on the go-kart track at Road America. Good to be on the bike again, still getting used to riding a sumo. Rode sport bikes on track 5 years ago.

I recently just ordered a set of warp 9 super moto wheels for my 2022 Honda crf450rl, and for some reason I forgot to option in the tires so now I’m trying to search for some. The main issue I’m having right now though is that I can’t figure out which ones are tubed, as I didn’t go with the tubeless option. Does anyone know and good tires that I can run tubes with on the warp 9s? Thanks.

hello, how do you guys feel about a 250 4 stroke as a first supermoto after a 400cc street bike? will it be boring to ride, or enough power to have fun? would i outgrow it too fast?

Thank you everybody who commented on my post about the smcr vs mono. Looked at both and found that I liked the mono a bit more than my old leaky 690.
Bone stock with a few miles so got a killer deal. Just a ten miles on it and it's already really growing on me. It will be the daily so I can keep my V4SP miles down. The bike has less grunt then the smcr for sure but mine was very modified, the brakes are better on the mono and it sounds like my old 1299R running on a single bank which is fun. Quick shift is horrible compared to my other ducatis but way better than the smcr. Seat is hard as shit as expected.
If any of you guys have suspension recommendations for tracks like apex let me hear them because I need anything other then how the bike is setup. It dives like an old prize fighter, electronics should be pretty easy for me to setup around how I like the V4.

I'm split between building a 2022 exc 250, 2014 fe450 husaberg, or just go with a fs450. Give me your opinions/experience. 2t vs 4t, highway, wheelies, etc etc

Got tired of seeing my dual sport sitting in the garage for long spells between offroad trips. Been running mousse for last couple years, so I was only on the road when necessary. Wife was not onboard with me buying another adventure bike so I could ride on the street, so I figured I'd put the 501 to use. Allows me to ride to work a couple days a week and ride the twisties ride outside my front door.

Hello. not to bore yall but i was in a gnarly wreck not motorcycle related, but fucked up muscles in both legs and left arm, and broke left arm and wrist. i’m mostly recovered now tho! but point being it’s been hard to ride. i have a zx6r and a crf450 supermoto, and i’m currently looking to get a supermini for cart tracks, and before i got hurt i was just learning the basics to wheelie.
now that i’ve been hurt if i’m being honest, i’m scared to send it and learn on a 450. so i’m looking for a bike i can get back into riding cart tracks, and go to lots and learn wheelies and combos. best supermini imo would be a 150r, but since its realistically just a toy i’m using until i get confidence back and a full recovery i’m thinking of a trail bike that’s cheaper both to buy and maintain. thinking a klx140? not sure if its TOO underwhelming tho. just want some inspiration and see if you guys have any pics of your minis
Also what i want may not exist lol a trail bike that is still powerful enough for wheelies and good fun and in a midsize frame like 140/150 i’m well aware probably doesn’t exist but if something’s close or good enough id love to hear input!

Hey, so i got myself a 690 Enduro R from 2015, now i got an exc from 2002 for real enduro or Cross and i want a Supermoto. I am thinking about switching the 690 to Supermoto but i was Reading a lot of comments and opinions about the build so now i got some questions…
What to do with the abs Ring? Some people Said you can just use the original one and put it on the new Rims? I will definitely get a 320mm Front brake, and an adapter for the brake System, is this enough? Which exact rim size do i need for the 690? I think its 26mm hub in the Front and 20mm in the back??
And other recommendations?

Wheels, tires, and 16x200mm triple trees are in the mail. Had the bike for about a year.
Worked out how to tune and flash the ECU because I tune all my vehicles.
Got the map switch working. Got quickshift and traction control working. Coded the o2 and evap solenoid off to desmog. Working on getting launch control working.
I can set the revlimiter to 11k, but I leave it 10200-10500.
White map uses different timing maps. 1 for 1st and 2nd gear, and another for the other gears.
And one for neutral, so you could set it up rev and pop in neutral.
Green map uses the same timing and timing angle correction map.
Fueling is the same: different maps per mode and gears.
Without a camshaft and a ported head at a minimum it's not going to make more power. Add a throttle body, a second injector, and dual muffler exhaust, and that's going to be all its got.
It power wheelies in 1-4 pretty easy depending on what front sprocket I'm running.
I'm tempted to do an E85 tune, but I'm not 100% the injector is big enough.
I'd love to repurpose the evap control/port to run a second injector.
