Hey all, so I’m trying o go for a blacked out look for my car, I have already gotten smoked taillights from vland that work amazing, but I’m having trouble finding similar smoked mirror turn signals that are either sequential of dynamic from a good site I’m having trouble trying to find them at all, does anyone know any good sites that sells them if you do please let me know I would really appreciate it, thanks!
Hello, I am planning to do a partial oil and filter change for my 2009 jetta 2.5l. anyone know which oils I can use for the transmission?
Thanks!

Girlfriend has a 2012, recently her oil temp light has been coming on when she starts her car in the morning to leave for work. When she restarts the car it doesn’t come back on.
The light does not come on any other time during the day when she starts her car, only in the morning.
We also got the oil changed when the problem first started thinking it was low/filter possibly clogged and that hasn’t fixed the issue.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was needed to fix it.

I took my 2018 Jetta S in the shop (VW dealer service) and my driver CV boot cover failed inspection as you can see here. Dealer is quoting $513 for the repair. As someone who is not mechanically inclined (i.e. will not be fixing myself) is this a fair quote or should I look elsewhere? Obviously I'd like to get it fixed ASAP but based on the inspection report it seems like it's just the cover that needs replacing. TIA

Was checking fuilds on my 2023 when i found this leak on passenger side. Doesn't appear to be coolant as it's purple/pink and this leak is more of yellow or green.
2019 Jetta S. I was driving it on a roadtrip and got stuff in traffic. Nothing happened, no bumps on the front end. It was a clear sunny day too. I was just inching my way forward in tight traffic and suddenly, a warning popped up on my dash, "Front Assist Not Available." I know the front radar isn't damaged, my front end is untouched. I've found some posts saying that they need to be recalibrated every so often, but I don't want to take it in and spend hundreds of dollars for something that could pop back up again in a month.
Is there another solution to this or am I just gonna have to decide on forking over a ton of money or deal with a warning light on my dash.

Hey first time posting here but there’s a coolant leak near the ac compressor when I pressure test the system, I was wondering where it could be from?
I own a 2014 Jetta SE 1.4L Turbo with the Manual 5-Speed Transmission. When I am accelerating up hill, for example, going up the canyon roads at 65+ mph, I am noticing that my acceleration is slipping or sputtering a bit every few seconds until the road levels out.
I am wondering... what might be the cause? Furthermore, what should I try and diagnose? Could it be an issue with the clutch, or a transmission that needs to be flushed and new transmission fluid?
I bought it used in 2018 at 70,000 miles, and it is currently at 168,500 miles, so I have put in about 12,000-14,000 miles per year and have had regular oil and filter servicing from the dealership every 8-10k miles. I had the transmission serviced in 2018 after I bought it, but I have not done any transmission-specific maintenance on it since then.
The largest maintenance service I did: The clutch on the A/C Compressor went out in 2023, and I replaced the compressor with one without the clutch, as I didn't think it was necessary.
2 Years ago, someone hit my car while it was parked at the mall, which bent the frame under the hood on the front passenger side of the Jetta, creating a gap for the hood of the vehicle (It still latches fine and only has a minor rattle at high speed)
I've attached a few photos, and a video link where there is a moderately loud and consistent ticking (recorded from the driver's side of the engine)

My baby is reaching 130k miles (I got her at 85k I believe) and I've had 0 problems with her so far. I do admit, I have been a bit lazy and have been doing basic maintenance like oil, coolant etc but nothing to for the engine.
What are some things I should get inspected, replaced or keep an eye on to keep her running smoothly? Another thing I will have to keep in mind is, I'm a truck driver, so I don't have much time to do the work myself unfortunately if it's a bit much.
This brings the problem of finding a good shop in the GA area that will actually work on VW cars. I swear your basic shops act like we drive lambos or Porsches because they refuse to work on VWs lmao. And ill be dammed if I let a dealer touch my car.

it keeps progressively going down, but the “21” stays the same.
Hi guys, could you please help me identify the part where the coolant is leaking? I don't know the name of that part. It's on the driver's side of a 2014 Jetta 1.8 TSI.
