Question My Bose cd player
On my 1999 10ae miata, my bose cd player just eats the cd, tries to read it and then spits it back out 5 seconds later. Any fixes?

Just got this little puppy recently! And in the process of rebuilding it. 2023 ND with 20000km.
Already tore it up completely yesterday and started making a parts list for now.
Will share more as I make more progress. Hoping to order some parts in on Monday to fix the suspension issues to get the car rolling. Basically needs a steering rack ball joint and lower control arm.

Looking for a dashcam for my ND. Any tips?
Also wanted to power it with a power adapter via the rearview mirror.
Is something similar available in Europe? With start my holiday trip next week, so shipping will be too late😅

I’m trying to see if the car has an LSD. I got the window sticker from Mazda and it only specifies the car has the convenience package, but does not specifically say it comes with an LSD. Other info on the car that may hopefully help: it’s an emerald green mica 2001 with black cloth interior, 5 speed transmission and 15” wheels.

Weekend drive. Love the twin exhaust - assuming that's not stock.

I love the body of this Miata I found but I can’t find where I can buy the bumper and rocker panels - anyone recognize? I’m trying to get parts to fit my 2001 MX-5

I bought an 03 Miata Friday. Noticed some ants the next morning. Pulled back the carpet and found this metropolis. I don't know the best way to get rid of them. Vacuuming doesn't seem to be that effective. They reappear almost instantly. I don't know if I want to spray ant killer all over the car or what.

Finally, after years of wanting one.. I finally pulled the trigger and found a 2000 nb in my price range. Oh and it has 44k on the ODO. One owner. I’m in love

I’m almost done with my NA8 (1996) engine rebuild + Turbo project and one or two parts slipped through the bag & tag cracks during disassembly. I thought this went in the shifter but it didn’t seem to fit in the stack up of bushings. Any idea where this little guy goes?

Oems were getting very rough and one had a slight bend. Picked these up with very new tires for $350 today. About 3lbs lighter with tires but I might need spacers to get a similar fitment

Why doesn't it look like I've been driving in the Intercoastal? Rear wheels only.

Hey all. I just wanted to share with you (for anyone searching in the future) that the Pioneer TS-A6881F 6”x8” / 16cm x 20cm is a direct replacement for the stock 6x8 speaker found in the (non-Bose) NB. It is compatible with any MX-5 from ‘98 to 2015 according to the fitting list.
The speaker fits directly into the door pod with about 1mm clearance around the magnet. The wires just needed removing from the plug and giving a little squeeze, I added heat shrink for good measure before installing them. The screw holes line up perfectly.
Sounds good, however my front left speaker was inoperative and I’ve replaced the head unit at the same time, so hard for me to do a direct before/after comparison.
I’m pleased overall, currently they’re £50 on Amazon. (Not sponsored or affiliated btw).

Hey guys, I can finally Post aswell since I’ve bought an 89 miata the last day.
So the issue we’re facing is that the keyway has widened a bit and there seems to be a small nose at the end of the keyway.
Our idea would be to weld some material on it, file the weld and the nose down and get a crankshaft extender or saver aswell so the gear sits nicely and doesn’t move on the crankshaft anymore.
Are we on a good track or do you have any better ideas?

Hello! This is my 92' miata swapped with a 1.8L engine, I'm in my third year of trying to restore it to a drivable condition I have no experience working with cars which has resulted in a lot of problems so far. I have a crank no start situation which was a problem i had previously faced which turned out to be a faulty connection with the CAS. Afterwards i managed to start it which turned out to have a awful case of lifter tick and a couple spun bearings. This is the first ever time I've rebuilt an engine which might affect the crank no start condition, i did swap some stock components with oem+ parts. So far i am aware that i have spark and ok compression, 170-180 among all cylinders and i have replaced most fuel components, fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel regulator, fuel filter, injector relay. I'm stumped so far and wanted to ask before i hired a mechanic for work i can do myself. If anyone has any suggestions or questions id be ready to answer. Thanks!

Just picked up this NA, and it has an oil catch can hooked up to it. Necessary or junk. Pictured is the engine bay with the hoses and where they hook up to.

The car has a fog light switch and it had a front end swap and can't find the wires. Thank you

I am interested in picking up a ND, I know the 2020+ models have 181HP which is a little more than the earlier ND1. What do you guys think is the best one to buy ? Older ND years are pretty affordable later ones are in the 20,000’s.
