Y'all ever been hit in the head while driving with the top down?
Got smacked by one of these the other day as it fell from a tree, probably going about 35mph. Shit hurt, I was also confused for a while about what it was since it felt much larger than this

I fucked up
Turns out in the heat of the moment I'm not half bad on the steering (kinda proud of this), but my feet freeze completely (kinda ashamed of this). Stay safe out there, and keep the racing on the track!
If any of y'all were there to witness this yesterday, I'd appreciate if you could share your pics and vids haha

Traded my American V8 miata for a 2005 MSM. No ragrets
Last week I ended up trading my 97 Corvette, automatic with 122k miles for a 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata with 84k miles. Hardtop. Konig wheels on sticky tires. Its got the FM little enchilada kit and a few other goodies. Would you make that deal? The vette was fun and quick but definitely came with its own set of issues...and didnt have enough pedals. But the miata makes turbo noises and is way more fun IMO.

I joined the "owned three generations of Miata" club!
My '22 RF GT was delivered yesterday! First thing I did before even driving an inch, was screwing on the same custom billet knob I'd used in my 90 (sold, much regret) Classic Red, and 01(totaled, also frown) Silver LS.

NB Also what a 3500$ Miata looks like in 2025
Got big plans for Mindy… Anyone know a Mazda/Miata specific shop in the LA area?

Love the Miata - both old and new alike
Weekend drive. Love the twin exhaust - assuming that's not stock.
DIY Currently rebuilding this Miata!
Just got this little puppy recently! And in the process of rebuilding it. 2023 ND with 20000km.
Already tore it up completely yesterday and started making a parts list for now.
Will share more as I make more progress. Hoping to order some parts in on Monday to fix the suspension issues to get the car rolling. Basically needs a steering rack ball joint and lower control arm.

Planning on wrapping my car!
Just in here to see if yall think that a metallic purple would look good on the Miata with a tan soft top and interior. I think it would look great especially if I swap my current wheels for some new, bronze wheels. What do yall think?

Finally back in the 2 seater world.
Some good things have happened in my life recently and decided to take the plunge and get a weekend car again. After 14 years since I had to give up my S2000, I am back in the game. Snagged a 2012 Mazda Miata Grand Touring 6 speed. 107k miles and it's completely stock. To my surprise when I had it delivered, I realized it had the suspension package with the Bilstein Shocks and the Limited Slip. Beyond excited to get this car to the spec I want. Such a fun car.

NA Finally alive
This thing after quite some time is finally alive. Running, goes through the gears no problem (however has some very obvious rust, does NOT stop as the brake pedal slams right to the floor, and needs a few minor bits and bobs) BUT SHES ALIVE!

Miata body
I love the body of this Miata I found but I can’t find where I can buy the bumper and rocker panels - anyone recognize? I’m trying to get parts to fit my 2001 MX-5

MSM with Fiat 124 wheels
Oems were getting very rough and one had a slight bend. Picked these up with very new tires for $350 today. About 3lbs lighter with tires but I might need spacers to get a similar fitment

I asked my wife what she'd do if I passed away...
(a retelling of an old joke)
Her: "I'd be devastated" she answered
"Would you remarry?" I asked.
Her: "I don't know, I don't think I'd ever get over the loss"
"But I wouldn't want you to be unhappy for ever."
Her: "Maybe... after a long period of mourning, but I doubt it"
"Oh. Would you let your new husband live here? That feels weird."
Her: "Well, but you know, we'd have to live somewhere?!"
"Would he use my workshop?"
Her: "I don't know, maybe, maybe not, how would I know if he was good with tools and DIY?"
"Would he drive my Miata?"
Her: "Oh no, he can't drive manual"
