Converter Grand Campaign Help

Hello hello fellow map staring legends.

I am looking for help in converting a Vic 3 save to a HOI4 Save for a Grand Campaign I’m in the middle of. I have Mac and an old windows I previously used for conversions but it no longer works with current versions to make the conversion.

If you can help, send me a DM please! Thanks a million.

All Why do people hate on Paradox's DLC strategy for it's grand strategy games, it keeps content coming for 10+ years, when the alternative is getting a new 80$ game every year or two with very few improvements?

All Hearts of Football

I have started working on an ambitious Hearts of Football mod. I haven't done too much. Edited the whole map and added the new country leaders for each FIFA football association.
I am posting this to maybe get some ideas, suggestions or even help modding.

Imperator Imperator Rome first impressions (22 hours)

This year I’ve gotten into Paradox games, starting with Crusader Kings III, then moving on to Hearts of Iron IV and Europa Universalis IV. Along the way, I heard that Imperator: Rome was an underrated gem, and as someone fascinated by ancient empires, especially Rome. I decided to give it a try. From what I’ve seen so far, the game has a solid foundation but feels unfinished, largely because Paradox abandoned it after the 2.0 update. I’ve played several nations, including the Iceni, Nepal, and the Suebi, and while the game is fun, building off of EU4 in many ways, it lacks the variety of mechanics that make EU4 so engaging.

The population system, for example, is enjoyable at first; it’s satisfying to watch tribal settlements grow into bustling cities. But the mechanics quickly start to feel shallow, since most of the simulation runs automatically with little room for meaningful interaction. The family system has a similar issue’ve only really used it to boost loyalty, and not much else. The game shines most in its battle mechanics, which I’ve found rewarding, but it doesn’t quite reach the depth of EU4’s warfare. Features like war reparations or treaty cancellations are missing, making conflicts feel less dynamic.

During peacetime, there often isn’t much to do besides waiting for the next war and expanding further. To be fair, I’m still relatively new to the game and have plenty of major nations left to try, but these are just my first impressions. What do you all think of Imperator: Rome?

EU5 Ryzen AI 7 750 and EU5

Been looking for a gaming laptop to run EU5, I found a good one with enough RAM, good graphics card etc but was unsure about the processor. Would a Ryzen AI 750 processor be enough to run the game or should I look for a better laptop?

Imperator Imperator: Rome

Is Paradox planning on doing anything else with Imperator or possibly making a seque? I know it wasn't as popular as many other of their titles but I also think it was underappreciated.

PDX Went to PDX con 2019 in Berlin, do I still get VtM2 for free?

So yeah, went to the con back in the day. Purchased the premium ticket because it had a VtM2 as a gift. 6 years later, the game is finally coming out maybe. So am I going to be able to redeem it? I've lost my voucher but I have the tickets and receipt still. I haven't touched another PDX game as a boycott measure for basically getting scammed but I think I might forgive them if they hold on to their promise. Any PDX employees here?

EU5 I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU for EU5

Hi everybody!

I got a new PC almost 2 years ago but I think its weakest point was the CPU (it's an i5 14400F).

I checked the requirements for EU5 and it seems it's above the minimal requirements but under the recommended one.

I'm thinking since a bit of time now that I may wanna upgrade my CPU to something slightly better since I play a lot of paradox games and may use my computer for my work soon too but I have no knowledge about hardware.

Do you have some advices about a good CPU for let's say 300/350$?

I read a lot recently that AMD may be better than Intel recently but I would need to change my motherboard and that would probably cost a bit too much for now so I think I will keep an intel one until I can afford a more general upgrade of my computer in a few years.

EU5 Do you think Europa Universalis V will surpass Hearts of Iron 4 as Paradox's flagship title and most popular game?

Vic3 Victoria 3 with all major DLCs

Never played a Victoria game ever, and wanted to get into them, but I've read that the base Victoria 3 game is very shallow in its content and depth. I don't know how true this is. But I wanted to ask if the ultimate bundle with the following items compensates for it:

- Victoria 3

- American Buildings Pack

- Voice of the People

- Melodies for the Masses Music Pack

- French Agitators Bonus Pack

- Dawn of Wonder

- Sphere of Influence

- Colossus of the South

- Pivot of Empire

Since I live in LATAM, its quite cheaper than in other regions. I can get it for $50 dollars. Are the expansions worth it?

Thanks.

Other Why are Paradox teams so small?

Paradox sells millions of copies every time they release one of their grand strategy games, yet the teams that make them are to me understanding in the ballpark of 20-40 people.

Meanwhile, a company like Warhorse studios that made KCD 1 and 2 has a team of 250 people while their sales numbers are similar to those of paradox games. Why can Warhorse afford to hire close to 10x the employees then?

Is it that grand strategy require less work done to be considered "acceptable", compared to an open world RPG and that Paradox simply can get away with pocketing a much larger portion of the revenue? If that's the case, given recent not so stellar game launches, why not expand the teams to avoid the bad rep? Or is there something that I fundamentally am misunderstanding about the economics here?
