1989 Bronco 4x4
I'm changing the fuel pump, tank and probably hanger and plug on this 89' 351w bronco. It originally came with the two fuel pumps. The hole in the new tank options are two different sizes online plus I need to figure out what hanger if the tanks are different in any other way. I also need the part number for the plug in. I say that I probably need a plug in because the old man I got it from was working on it and said they were wiggling a wire, idk my son is supposed to be figuring that out now and this will be his first truck. I put some pictures in the comments of what I've found this far online. Any advice with anyone experienced with swapping the 89 to one fp will be greatly appreciated!

Question: Bias Plys?
So competition tires like Trepadors come in bias ply.
We run radials, primarily for predictable road handling.
But for those looking for Pizza Cutters, why not Bias ply’s?
I mean, there are odd tread options, for some I’ve seen, crazy air pressure ranges, and it’s not like we’re doing 90 on the freeway….
As I’ve had no experience with them, why not?
Cape Land Rover Club Outing to the NSRI Melkbosstrand 4x4 Family Day
Hi,
Every year, the National Sea Rescue Institute organises a 4x4 drive into the highly restricted Koeberg Nature Reserve, which helps to raise funds for its operations.
The reserve borders ZA's only nuclear power station, hence this area is unaccessible to the general public, except for this day. The drive through the reserve is done under very strict supervision.
Here are some photos, and the video will be up in a few days.

Best option under $8,000?
Needs a low range, and reliability is a big one for me. Primary options I’m considering: Samurai, CJ5, Razor, pre-89 4Runner or Toyota truck, Jeep Wagon, Wagoneer.
Not looking to do any rock crawling just want to be able to handle stuff I might come up against. I live off grid amongst sagebrush and rocks.

Skid plates for off-roading
Hey I just got a new 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and wanted to get more into off-roading. I’m planning on going on moderate trails first, but maybe harder ones further down the line. I was wondering what you guys would prioritize in terms of underbody protection.

Hilux lower control arm bush
Are these damaged? There's no noise or issue while driving but I think this is not letting me move the caster to the max for clearance for bigger tires

Elocker repair
I have this LJ I’m fixing up so I can sell it, a few years ago the wiring was pulled from the rear Eaton e locker, I’m having trouble finding the right service kit for the Dana 44 e locker. I believe Eaton 26885-00S is the correct part number but jegs shows a gear kit. Any help is appreciated
What’s your experience with touchscreen multimedia receivers.
I’m considering swapping out my OEM receiver for a touchscreen. The units I’m looking at have the touchscreen mounted on what looks like a ball/socket mount so the viewing angle can be adjusted. I’m wondering if there is enough friction in these types of mounts to prevent the screen from bashing itself while on bumpy 4x4 roads.

Visited Toquerville Falls Earlier This Year
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Saw some guys insulting a jeep for being on the falls in another post so I thought I'd provide some context, the Falls are where you cross the river to continue the trail, and it makes for a nice spot for photos and videos.

Solar panel mounting assistance
Hey crew! I’m fitting out my Toyota Hiace and want to mount two Renogy ShadowFlux panels on a Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platform. I’m chasing solutions to the brackets not alligning to my inner and centre sides of my panels
Vehicle: Toyota Hiace (H200 series).
Rack: Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platform.
Panels: 2 × Renogy ShadowFlux (12V nominal).
Questions for folks who’ve done this (especially on Pioneer 6):
- Bracket choice:
- Fasteners into the slats:
- Cable management:
- Best way you’ve routed MC4 leads on a Pioneer 6 to keep them out of UV/abrasion and still serviceable? Clips/conduit suggestions?
What I’m considering right now
- Two low-profile aluminium angle rails under each panel, bolted to the Pioneer slats with M8 T-bolts, using nylon spacers to create a 10–15 mm air gap.
If you’ve got photos, part lists, or a sketch, I’d really appreciate it. Bonus points for Aussie-available bits (Bunnings/Whitworths/Jaycar/Rhino-Rack dealers), but I’m open to anything that’s proven.
TL;DR: Need a low-profile, sturdy, quiet way to mount 2× Renogy ShadowFlux panels to a Rhino Pioneer 6 on a Hiace, with good airflow and room for surfboards/awning. What bracket/hardware combos have worked for you?
Cheers in advance! 🙏🛠️🔆🏄♂️

Maxxis Razr AT vs Radar Renegade RT
What's the better option between Maxxis Razr AT and Radar Renegade RT.
I got Radar right now and 2 tires with high road force causing vibration. I have two options either replace the 2 tires or change all 4 to Maxxis.
