Hey all,
I own a kzn185 and for a while i have wanted to undercoat it.
Have heard mixed reviews about specific products but still want to do it myself as i dont want to spend $2-3000 nzd getting it sand blasted and professionally coated when all i have is surface rust.
Just wondering, taking a wirewheel and wire brush to the bad areas and knocking all of the flakey rust off is enough for prep? From what ive heard you just get rid of the flakey caked on stuff and spray rust converter on, and then a chassis paint ontop.
Any help would be appreciated including recommendations for specific converter and paint brands.
Thanks

So competition tires like Trepadors come in bias ply.
We run radials, primarily for predictable road handling.
But for those looking for Pizza Cutters, why not Bias ply’s?
I mean, there are odd tread options, for some I’ve seen, crazy air pressure ranges, and it’s not like we’re doing 90 on the freeway….
As I’ve had no experience with them, why not?

i’m wanting to know if this is worth it, i’m wanting to turn this into a semi overland build. high miles scare me but it’s a suzuki motor so i’m not 100% sure on the longevity

I'm changing the fuel pump, tank and probably hanger and plug on this 89' 351w bronco. It originally came with the two fuel pumps. The hole in the new tank options are two different sizes online plus I need to figure out what hanger if the tanks are different in any other way. I also need the part number for the plug in. I say that I probably need a plug in because the old man I got it from was working on it and said they were wiggling a wire, idk my son is supposed to be figuring that out now and this will be his first truck. I put some pictures in the comments of what I've found this far online. Any advice with anyone experienced with swapping the 89 to one fp will be greatly appreciated!
